We liked the nice large room and the facilities gave a greater degree of independence associated with self catering. It was close to the Orangery park and European Parliament buildings, but it was a long way from the 'old town'. More information regading bus routes/bus stops and tram routes/tram stops to help get to the 'old town' and other tourist locations in the city would have been helpful if available at the hotel. |

Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms very clean and "individual". Easy access from secure underground parking. Excellent breakfast. Very central location but still quiet. |

Very nice and helpful staff Internet access in the rooms would be good; the password in the parterre for using your own laptop is too long - not all laptops accept it |

There were so many things to like about this hotel, it was disappointing that the most important reason for being there ... to gain a good night's sleep ... did not eventuate. This was due to excessive heating (we managed to get it turned down in our room for the second night) and a slightly sagging mattress, and having to wrestle with a sheet and blanket instead of a comfortable doona. On the plus side, we booked a two-night deal that included a superb three-course meal at a Petite France restaurant, welcome drinks and an excellent buffet breakfast. The room was extremely spacious and had a kitchenette, table and chairs and large balcony. There are no limits on parking in surrounding streets. Great value but attention needed to the quality of bedding. |

The room was very nice and spacious. Big bathroom and separate toilet area. Nice kitchen area and good location next to a very active park. We were only there one night, but the shower door was broken when we tried to use it. It should have been caught by the room cleaning staff and reported/fixed before our arrival. My older father (78 years), tried to use the shower and was unable to. Both he and my mother had to use the bathtub, which was very slippery on the bottom so a bit dangerous. |

impressive good hotel-apartments type , nice well equipped rooms , clean , rich breakfast, friendly discrete staff, would recommend it anytime free wi-fi in the rooms and reserved free parking would add more attractiveness to the hotel , although situated aprox 30 min from downtown |

The suite that we were given considering the price that we paid and the rate that the Residence normlly charged. The breakfast room was vey small for the number of guests all trying to have their breakfast at the same time. |

Spacious studio - separate bedroom, lounge with kitchenette, bathroom and separate toilet. Great location near the park and a few restuarants; walking distance to the city. Crowded breakfast room with uninspired cold buffet. |

What a great location right near the Orangerie (Park). Nice to be able to cook up our own breakfast in the room and enjoy it on the terrace. Very tricky and expensive parking. Desk person at check-in was not very welcoming at all. |

big, comfi room (standardsuite). Plenty of free parking space in front of the hotel. Execellent facillity. They even get a playstion in room. (high costs at 7 eur/hr though.) Breakfast is ok (tradtional French Breakfast is poor any way). Fantastic price. Hotel is not quite in downtown area. Tramstation is not far away though. (10 min. by foot) There's no wifiaccess in room. Nor any outlets for cable connection. Wifi is only available in the foyer and encrypted by WEP, which has a rotating key every day. Typing a different 128bit hexidecimal key every day is really no fun. ;-) The faciliity has probably once seen better days. Curtain with hole in it should i.g. be replace in a 4-star-hotel. |

Rather big appartments, clean and comfortable. Far from the historical center. No minibar. Even though there is a kitchen with refrigerator, diahwasher, teakettle, coffee machine, electric oven, plates and dishes, there are no frying pan or pot, so it is impossible to cook something. Probably frying pan or pot can be order on the reception, - we didn'r try. |

Ideally located near the station and the historical quarter, the hotel is an ideal base for a trip to Strasbourg. |
The hotel is ideally situated in the city centre along River Ill, close to the cathedral, and welcomes you in a prestigious 19th century building. |
Set just 250 metres from Strasbourg train station, close to the old town and La Petite France district, the Best Western Monopole Métropole is housed in a lovely 19th-century building. |
Located a 10-minute walk from the centre of Strasbourg, the Hôtel Villa d'Est offers cosy, well-equipped rooms designed for ultimate comfort. Guests enjoy access to a fitness centre and sauna. |
