Liberty Mont Blanc Hôtel  

A two star frnch hotel a few metres from the bottom of the St Gervais lift system. The owner is a nice guy who speaks great English. The restaurant serves excellent tasty and good value food which the kids loved. Would stay here again.

The hotel is run by a gentlemen named Frederick. Speaks multiple languages including English, very helpful and accomodative. Good morning breakfast, nice area with ski lockers/changing rooms/ sauna and jacuzzi facilities. The accomodations were simple but clean, definately in-line to better than expected for the money. Great location within 50 meters of the gondola. Skiing was better-than-expected as I found more powder/less trafficked trails in this area than in some Chamonix resorts.

Not much. For the price, it was good value. The bathroom was a bit dated, felt slightly rustic but was clean/ totally fine. It was cold that week, so I needed the space heater- worked like a charm. Some have complained about the TV, mine worked fine once I found out how to turn it on.

I feel that what I saw online matched my expectations. Breakfast was good especially the fresh squeezed orange juice machine.

Rooms could have been better maintained, I.E. paint the walls, fix the holes in the tiles in the bathroom. Put a shower head in the bathroom that is higher.

The hotel is located next to the ski-lifts. Foods are tasty in their restaurant. Staff was polite and helpful.

Accueil très moyen, chambres petites et très vieillottes. Hôtel triste.

La situation géographique à proximité des sites du mont blanc.Les renseignements fournis par l'acceuil pour les différentes ballades à faire pour un court séjour étaient pertinents.

Une réception brouillonne non isolée: bar- bureau-capharnaum. Une chambre exigue mais avec vue sur le mont blanc.Une salle de bain antediluvienne avec un écoulement du wc permanent et du linge élimé.Pas de petit déjeuner ouvert à 7h45 comme demandé pour un départ en randonnée.Restaurant fermé dimanche et le lundi.

Frederic is an excellent host.

The bathrooms are in quite poor shape.

There was nothing to like, a huge disappointment from start to end.

Service: The receptionist was neither friendly nor motivated. Rooms: The room itself was ok, but the bathroom was not acceptable. Both shower doors unhinged every time they were moved, the shower doors didn't close, and there was mould everywhere. Pool: The pool was not clean and the jacuzzi was not warm enough. Location: The hotel is a 15min from the city centre, this was not disclosed properly.
