Location was good, very close to Gare du Nord (10 mins walk), 25 mins to Notre Dame on foot, 2 mins from metro station. The room was small but clean and wifi was free.
It was very noisy outside and difficult to sleep until the noise died down somewhat after midnight; however it all started again early morning.
No internet , poor breakfast , breakfast time 7:30 to 9:30 am only, very small room, no soap in the bathroom , poor customer services.
Good for the price
Nice rooms and clean
The location and no parking facilities
Near Metro station and train station (Paris Nour). Not expensive nightly rate. Service is very prompt.
Not good neighborhood, noise at night. Small lift but not a big deal, I used the stairs. No wifi at the time we booked.
Location near Gare de l'Est was good.
Location - reasonably close to main attractions (walk ~30-60 mins), close to metro and bus stop Young receptionist (daytime) speaks English and is very helpful as much as he can.
Location - very low-class African neighborhood, folks pissing on the street, very noisy. I like night life, but the kind of folks we saw on this street until 1-2am was not making my wife feel very comfortable. Old receptionist (evenings) does not speak much English and does not seem to care much about things not being right, e.g. putting us in two extremely tiny rooms instead of the booked family room with 4 beds. Fortunately, it was for one day only (otherwise we would have left), but it was still a major disappointment, ruining our first night and some of the next day as we had to move rooms. Sixth floor is horrible - no elevator (dragging suitcases), very small corridor, and tiny (really!) rooms. My wife is not large, but could not turn around in the shower cabin.
a cozy and friendly (daytime working staff) hotel, very relaxed atmosphere, close to Metro station of Chateau d Eau, and also close to a local supermarket
arrange travel during day time as at night time streets could appear to be crowded
Sunday was a good day. When we woke up things were clean, orderly and quiet. The breakfast was decent and the staff was accommodating.
Located in probably the worst part of town to visit on a Saturday afternoon. Streets were smelly and full of hustlers. Police were on full lookout for disruptions. Loud music all through the night.
walking distance to Notre Dame etc
The location - in an area dominated by hairshops for Africans. No problem with Africans at all just wanted a bit more of a Parisian feel. One member of staff seems to have challenged himself not to smile - at all. The other two seemed to be playing the same game but occasionally relented when an attractive Chinese girl appeared..
Location, helpful staff, good standard, quiet.
Shower tray clean but had deep set mould on it. Hairdryer in bathroom didn't work
Close to the Gare de L'est station, just a short walk away. Close to metro station.
Tiny lift (just managed to fit myself and suitcase inside the lift). No air conidtioning - felt like sauna in the room. Street outside is noisy. Breakfast was a simple affair, croissant, bread, juice with choice of either tea/coffee/hot chocolate.
Close to Metro station Also 10-15mim walk to Gare du nord station where I can take the RER to CDG airport.
Breakfast is so simple, just coffe and bread, but i'm still satisfying considering the price !
proximity to metro station clean rooms nice staff attitude
street noise all day long during night even that I did not expect
The photo of room when I booked showed double bed and three single beds in fact was double bed 1 single and 1 camp bed meaning my son had to sleep with me and if all five of us that booked had gone there wasn't a bed for the other one I assumed they had given me cheaper Room because I'd booked for five when only four went but no was charged same price so disgusted really . towels and sheets were left all over hallway floors I complained so they cleared them then next day all there again which meant we had to carry buggy through hallways the lift was tiny had to hold buggy up to fit it in and my son had to walk upstairs on his own as we didn't all fit in lift together . they held money from my account in May which ruined my daughters birthday as not what I expected as on booking clearly said no money taken now pay in euros at the hotel overall not a good experience with booking.com or that hotel not happy and iam usually easily pleased when it comes to holidays especially :(
I liked that it was near a train station and Metro. Only 5 minute walk.
The wifi was only working on the ground level. So if ur need to get connected be prepared to step out of ur room. Male night staff was gloomy all the time and shows annoyance when you request him something. The neighborhood has a lot of night activities and group by-standers and they can get quite loud. we were forced to close our window and had to sleep sweating since there is no air conditioning.
I liked the breakfast and location only. Close to Gare du Nord, lots of croissants and orange juice. No eggs, no meat. We liked it.
Worse place to stay is 204 room. Noisy door at the end of the corridor, poor service from reception. We couldn't sleep due to noisy door. One receptionist was really nice, the other one was short minded. It is a cheap hotel, cheap service you get. Need more? Pay more. But this one it is not customer service focused, so no tips for them, except the hardworking ladies from Canteen. They probably clean the rooms also.
The location is fine and surrounded with many restaurants, shops. Metro is near by. Parking is near by and cheap with hotel special discount.
The breakfast is a bit poor and can be improve. The wifi has to be solved, it didn't work during our entire stay. People are very noisy outside, especially if your room on the street.
Usefull location, close to Marais and city center Not expensive Breakfast included
Not very clean rooms Wifi is free but didn't work
Near the station (gare du Nord)
Poor wifi (can connect only in ground and first floor) Hotel located in the 'bad neighborhood' (black and (may be) muslim people)
Too high price for what one gets. Very poor Wi Fi , doesn't work at room. Room not serviced properly
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The bathroom in the room was filthy. Mould on the tiles, the shower curtains were smelly and the toilet was dirty with dirt and dust on the piping. All overall cleanliness and hygiene were poor.
I didn't like the location, the facilities , the behaviour of some of staffs. The Internet didn't work in the room, and it was so slow and mostly disconnected. totally it was an awful place to stay.
Wifi was unusable, EXTREMELY slow
Very Handy Gares du Nord et de l'Est. Simple but good value for a capital city
