Very quiet, clean and friendly place near metro station, the public parking is also very close.
The hair dryer didn't work. And Wi-fi didn't work at all, very weak signal
It suited us because we were participating in a competition in the pool nearby.
It is expensive for what it is, but I guess it is Paris prices.
Hotel is very close to underground.
Very small rooms and small beds, no individual pillows but a long role instead (very awkward); quite expensive for the level of comfort.
The location - very close to Metro station Lilas gambetta The cleanliness - the hotel is very clean
The room did not have a kettle/jug for warm water for tea/caffe.
It is clean.
A bit far from the city centre.
It was really clean and nice. The staff is helpful and responsive. It was really good for the value of money.
Extremely clean, Friendly staff and good value for money.
Not much variety for breakfast, a bit noisy and WIFI kept dropping.
It was clean and close to the metro. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had a double bed as we requested.
The room was too small. The wall were so thin that we could hear some annoying loud sound of people making love so "enthusiastically" and talking to each other all night long.
The hotel was very clean. Very good service for very good value :).
I stayed at Lilas Gambetta in Paris for 4 nights and I was more than satisfied. Normally I was on my way visiting Paris early in the morning and back at the hotel late at night. The rooms are small but for a two stars hotel, they are perfect if you need a place to crash after a long day in Paris. Really very clean. I do not have any complains on this. Quiet also, considering that the walls are very thin and any loud noise will be shared with your neighbors. There is a TV with Canal+ channels and a large array of french programs, if you are interested to watch TV while staying in Paris :)) The bathroom was equipped with a hair dryer and a shower cabin. Again, very clean. The hotel was recently renovated so it shows. Hot water immediately, not having to wait for it. A plus on this one also. The staff is very welcoming, really pleasant to talk to. The lady from the reception was really nice to talk to and really willing to help (spoke English very well also). If you came from Bouvais airport, you can arrive to the hotel easily by taking the metro: From Port Maillot to Hotel de Ville on the M1 line. Then change at Hotel de Ville to line M11 and go to Porte de Lilas. This is a long ride, so expect... 45 minutes? Long story short, a nice place to crash, after spending a long day in Paris.
The staff was very welcoming, except one old guy, that happened to be at reception when I checked-out. He is kinda grumpy and didn't spoke English that good. Not a problem for me personally because I can manage a little bit of french, but just saying. As I said before, the walls were thin and any loud noise will be shared with your neighbors.
Good location, very good access to public transportation.
The room faced the street and there was street noise most of the night.
