- dingy, there was a tick in the tub and flies on the ceiling - noisy all night, very sketchy crowd outside the door

the staff was very helpful and friendly and the windows of my room opened towards a quiet, small inner court yard. The bath facilities were very nice.

there must have been a smoker/s in that room before . I tried to air it out but of course there was not enough time to do it thoroughly. But that smell was not impairing my sleep.

Good value for the price. Rooms were comfortable and clean - better than in the hotel across the street that cost more per night. Spacious, newly renovated bathroom. Subway is right outside the door. Easy to get from the airport via rer.

Check with the hotel beforehand whether your reservation went through and you room was reserved for you. When we arrived, the receptionist said that my name was not in the system and they were completely booked for the night. They later found my name, but someone apparently made a mistake and didn't reserve a room for us. On the positive side, a very nice receptionist booked a room for us in the hotel across the street and settled everything with the price so that in the end we didn't have to pay more. It took a while, though. So... To save yourself time and energy, double check everything straight after booking.

This hotel really is perfect for anything to do with Gare de l'Est. You are right there. For the money, I found it excellent. Extremely clean and well appointed, quiet, good WiFi. Really good value.

Slightly dubious cancellation policy.

It was very close to the metro stations. It had a quirky lift! Comfortable bed, decent bathroom en-suite. Staff helpful.

The tap in bathroom was loose. The shower didn't have a curtain. The road was noisy on Sat night!

Good service. Good value for money. Attentive and courteous staff. Location near Gare du Nord and Gare de l'Est.

Noisy room. Window faced a bus depot which was very noisy with buses and people screaming till 3:00 AM. If you go, ask for a room that does not face the street and you will be OK.

The staff did not charge us the right amount (eur 184.00 - room + vat) as given by booking.com further more I was charged to my credit twice (mar 16th 125.00 and mar 26th eur 250.00) which makes a total eur 375.00 against eur 184.00 quoted by booking.com ANYWAY I CAN GET BACK THE EXTRA PAYMENT MADE

Extremly clean, very nice and helpful staff, small rooms but big enough, good shower. The best you can get for this price. I will definetly come back. It was perfect.

Our room was very neatly cleaned and kept everyday. Very clean bathroom. We stayed here 4 nights and felt quite comfortable. There is an entrance into the Metro right in front of the hotel. Freindly and helpful staff.

Reserved a double, but got 2 twins. The mattresses are old and sink at the center, making it hard to sleep well. It's Paris, so I'm not even gonna complain. Just would like to mention that everything in our room kind of sloped towards the middle: the floor and so all the furniture too. We kept trying to keep a narrow vase on the side table and later on the desk, which required some balancing skill. It kept tipping over because of the very uneven floor! Not a big deal, but funny!

Staff was so impatient to answer the questions and not helpful at all The wifi did not work at all. He gave us the wifi code to my friends and me. We lived in two separate rooms 5th and 6th. None of us can connect the internet. I try to call him and go to see him to solve the problem, but he said sorry he can't do anything. Our room was so cold even the heater was turned to be maximal. I called and go down to ask for an extra blanket. But he said his hotel don't have any extra!!! (How is that possible???) We have three rooms, none of them were that clean. And two days before I arrived, I already called the hotel to confirm if we can have two twin bed, they said yes they marked for us. But after we arrived, the room were with 1 double bed! Not a comfortable night...

The location of the hotel was good. ALso the Price was a good bargain

The lift is too small and so are the room. You can't stretch in the bathroom, as the roof is too low. The extra bed we got was broken and it took too long for a change. At one point the staff told me there was nothing they could do. It's only when I asked to talk to the manager that they changed it, but with yet another less broken one.
