It was close to everything we needed. Walking distance to Christmas markets and cafes etc. It was up 4 flights of stairs and also on a busy city street so if you have a car it's hard. If you have suitcases it's also difficult as the stairway is narrow and winding.

Appartement (ce n'est pas un hôtel) de charme avec parquet ancien idéalement situé dans le vieux Lille. Bien équipé, accueil d'une personne sympathique 4ème étage sans ascenseur avec escalier étroit et abrupt (on s'y fait sauf pour monter les valises) non signalé dans l'annonce. Un peu cher 130 € la nuit (à 2 puis 4 personnes)

Su ubicación en pleno vieux lille espectacular.muy cómodo, no falta de nada en el apartamento. Lo único malo es que es un cuarto piso sin ascensor, estupendo para gente joven y niños ya grandes. De resto todo muy bien

Really excellent location, responsive staff, easy paperwork. Nice decor. Ask how to assure you have hot water in evening. Not a problem for us but beware this Grande Chausee apt is 4 flights up, no lift.
