very near to the beach and shops. good value for money

room a bit too small, would prefer to have the bedding and towels included ,not as an extra.

The requested extra pillows were supplied, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Travellers should phone ahead as there is no reception.

No bed linen ( we knew in advance) no towels( luckily had taken some) no heat in bathroom and bath petite! St. Palais was dead; two crepe reies luckily.

Generally clean apartment in a very good central location in St Palais

The description on the Booking.com website is very misleading. First of all it is not a hotel but an apartment block. The pictures on the website are a mixture of the larger apartments which have balconies, and the the studio apartment, which we were in, which turned out not to have one. This was a big disappointment. The main room was very small and with no outside balcony area to sit out on, there were only hard dining chairs to sit on at a small dining table. The description on the website seemed to give the impression of a much larger studio apartment, and I was led to believe that the particular one that I was booking had a proper bed and not a sofa bed. The small kitchen area was separate to the main room and was reasonably equipped and generally good. However there were: a distinct shortage of odd knives; no sizable cups/mugs (just four oversize egg cup size receptacles which were presumably supposed to be for coffee); saucepans without any handles!; an excellent coffee maker. The bathroom off the kitchen area was reasonably equipped and everything functioned okay. On the plus side the apartment was excellently situated in the heart of the resort and was found to be clean and tidy. On the negative side, the main living area was found to be on the small side with no balcony such that there was not much space left when the sofa bed was laid out.

This really is a strange one. I must admit I was guilty of not reading the t's & c's before I confirmed the booking and didn't realise it was a private appartment and not a hotel complex. When I read it properly we realised that you had to supply your own linen if you didn't want to incur an extra charge and there was also a cleaning charge at the end of the stay unless you cleaned the appartment yourself. Saint Palais is a lovely place to stay as the village is very clean and the small beach area is beautiful. The location of the appartment is tremendous and is only around 200 yards from the beach and all of the restaurants.

There is a €400 deposit held on your credit card to cover any breakages and you are made to feel a liitle awkward when you leave as they go around the appartment and check evrything is OK and you have left it in a good condition. Would I stay here again? I don't really know as it is closer to the beach than most of the hotels but you are just afraid to use any of the facilities in case you are charged for them.

It was very modern and nicely furnished inside.

The road outside was very noisy at night.

As a first-time user of Booking.com and Location Saint Palais, I was very satisfied by the efficiency and efforts of the staff (both via Internet and in person or on the phone). We went to Saint Palais to attend a wedding in St. Georges-de-Didonne (and dinner afterwards at the Salle des Fetes in Saint Palais), so the location was ideal -- a 5-minute walk. We also appreciated the availability of the private parking facilities. The apartment was great, and it was a shame we only stayed one night ! We'll be sure to keep it in mind for future trips.

The only thing we noticed was a very minor detail (and this was because the rest of the apartment was excellent - so clean, modern, etc.) was the caulking around the bathtub. It was showing signs of mold/mildew and really should be replaced.

le seul petit hic à notre avis c'est le manque de volet. nous aurions été seulement des adultes ça irait mais avec des enfants c'est un peu juste. mais ça c'est bien passé quand même

Le logement était très agréable, très bien agencé et très bien équipé. L'accueil était très chaleureux. De plus l'emplacement parfait, pas loin de la plage, petit centre, marché.

La simplicité de la location, arrivée et départ. L'emplacement. Le rapport qualité/prix. Le centre ville. Proximité du marché quotidien. Une bonne connexion Wifi.

La vmc hyper bruyante! Pas de place de stationnement. Un manque de balcon/terrasse. Le sommier/matelas un peu souple suite à usage.

Le prix "super attractif" pour un petit appartement tout confort avec tous les appareils électriques utiles et l'équipement (tv grand écran, lecteur dvd) dont une "tablette" pour lire son courrier "un plus très très rare...." la gentillesse et la disponibilité de "l'hôtesse".... Ainsi que tous les produits d'entretien ménagers bio et même les petits produits de salle d'eau...individuels, comme à l'hôtel. Un logement très adapté pour une étape ou même un séjour. Très bonne situation sur la route des vacances. Tres bonne adresse.... Avec les félicitations de M.E. de Piriac sur mer.

5 € de supplément pour avoir des draps. En fait le concept est celui d'une location saisonnière,à l'intérieur d'un immeuble lambda: pas de réception, il faut téléphoner pour être accueilli, et faire son ménage. Ce n'était pas ce que nous avions compris sur le site. Option valable si location pour plusieurs jours
