Access to Metro Bastille only 3 min. And Supermarket in near by. The room is bery right, warm and comfortable ....
There are 2 problems which one is the right bulb was damaged in Shower room. 2nd one is the refrigerator was not cold due to full frost in the freezer. I hope facility maintenance does not effectiveness.
The wifi was reliable and fast. The view of the church in front as you open the windows is nice, the bed is comfortable, the sheets and pillows are clean, the size of the studio is bigger than standard hotel rooms in Paris, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils you'll need in case you'll cook or bring home food (which we didn't do) and the fact that its in a Main Street very close to Bastille. It's not very near the central area by the Louvre but the Le Marais district has its own share of shops, bars and cafes and near Places des Vosges highly suggest: visit Luxembourg park and Places des Vosges
That they didn't go back to us on turning on the towel heater and the detergent soaps, pointed to us by the person who welcomed us as something we could use (all family size) were all about to run out and one or two were empty
Certainly we enjoyed spectacular days in Paris, some of them sunny days, others, rainny. However I must tell that Paris is beautiful with sunshine and exceptionally beautiful in rainny days because the colors of the buildings and stores and the street lights reflecte themselves on the floor in a particular way . Undoubtedly our stay in the Modern Studio at the fifth floor of 18 Rue Antoine was an essential part of our enjoyable holiday in Paris. The Modern Studio is fully decorated in the right way we like, and equipped with the tools necessary and sufficient. It has a magnificent natural lighting through the roof and excellent soundproofing which isolates the visitor from the noise of the Rue Saint Antoine. We were surprised by the comfort and functionality of the Studio. The location of the Modern Studio at Le Marais neighborhood, closed to Le Vosges Square, is perfect . The visitor has in short blocks walking two entrances to the Metro Line M1 (Bastille Station at Bastille's Square and Saint Paul Station in the place where Rue Saint Antoine merges Rue de Rivoli). The Metro Line M1 will pick up the visitors to where they want to go in Paris, using this M1 Line and the rest of the several combinated Metro and RER Lines. The question is simple, the visitor must select where to go in Paris, and then, must choise the right Metro Lines to get from those Bastille Station or Saint Paul Station. Latin Quarter and its crowdy bars and streets, Montparnasse, the Iles de la Cité and de Saint Louis, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Seine River, the streets of Paris, Le Marais' and La Bastille's neighborhoods, with their unmistakable multicolored bars plenty of people, are a few minutes walking from the Modern Studio. I must tell that the treatment we received from the Studio's owner when we arrived and when we left it, was excellent.
Location. Nice kitchen. Pleasant enough room with lots of natural light.
The website said that there was a lift, and there was. However we had to go up one flight of stairs to get to the lift and then another flight of stairs after we got out of the lift. This was not mentioned on the web site and would not have booked this place had we known. There was a washing machine but nowhere to dry the clothes so after travelling for two weeks I could still not do any washing. The place was not ready when we arrived at 3.30. When we did get in there around 4.30 pm there were still glasses from the previous tenants draining in the sink. Only 3 coat hangers. Some fixtures in need of maintenace, especially an electric socket hanging from the wall. Place is quite noisy. I would imagine it is also very stifling in the height of summer as there is no airconditioning. Studio is difficult to locate as it is not obvious from the street. I would not recommend this place to other travellers.
Great location and view from the window. Very good interior made in white colours. Easy to get everywhere in Paris. 3 min to metro "Bastille". There is all staff for cooking. The street is full of small shops and bars. wi-fi is fast.
Need to be cleaned better. Was a dust on surfaces.
Nice small studio, beautiful furniture; clean; beautifully skylighted; beautiful view from the window over rue St.Antoine and the Marais Reformed Church; well equipped kitchinette; the wifi works very well; the Bastille metro station is at 3 min. distance, the St.Paul one, with supermarkets around, at 10 min.
Nice small entrance courtyard, but accessible through a parking entrance, which is not very nice (maybe it can be practical for those who travel by car); the room is furnished to look good (quasi-design), but not totally practical (for instance, extremely reduced possibility for hanging your clothes, you will have to lay them into drawers); bathroom nicely lighted from above, but the skylight is practically impossible to open, so you have to ventilate the bathroom through the room; no soap or shower gel, no changing of the towels during a longer stay; some of the electrical power plugs and some of the lamps didn't work.
