Ample (shaded) parking was appreciated in this busy tourist spot as was the air-conditioning in the bedroom and the full-width window overlooking the valley. The "rock" view was just within trade descriptions to give the hotel its Bellaroc name. Bedroom clean and bed comfortable and modern.
The shower recess was so tiny and yet efficient, that together with the adjacent bathroom's shower noises led to much amusement. Also the air-con unit gurgled occaisionally in the middle of the night even though switched-off. This Logis is one of three, most clients seen eating across at the Bellaview.
View, position, staff
Cramped shower cubicle, dirty shower head, very noisy plumbing late at night, run down frontage, no space between bed end and drawer unit (had to walk sideways)
Super views of old town and castle right outside hotel. Easy (flat) walk to castle, giving access to steps or lifts to abbey and old town. Swimming pool quietly located. Might be a bit of a sad comment but the best wi-fi we've come across while touring the region.
Breakfast. After two weeks touring France on a bike I would dearly like some protein other than yoghurt or cheese offered at breakfast. I don't eat dairy, so day after day I am stuck with just bread and jam. I expect better at hotels.
Inexpensive Relatively close to other shops and attractions
excellent views of Roccamadour, nice restaurant, free parking, free wifi.
We had a room at the front of the hotel and so had a spectacular view of the castle and surrounding area. The room was a little small but quite comfortable although the hotel decor did feel a little "tired" Restaurant was good with a varied menu and hotel had plenty of parking, so overall good value for price charged. Too cold for us to use swimming pool in garden but ideal hotel for a family.
The views, the young staff members who tried to help.
The air-conditioning was turned off at around 9 in the evening. The bathrooms were very out of date, with a shaverlight above mirror the only source of light for the entire bathroom. The shower was awful a tiny tiled cubicle with a plastic curtain. Originally I thought it had ample power sockets however the two in the fitting that the TV stood on were not connected to anything. The food was very ordinary and for what it was expensive there is a much better hotel a short walk away that serves really nice food try it it's called the Hotel restaurant Bellevue, a great friendly place. The Bellaroc has a problem with fly's in the restaurant no attempt was made to deal with them despite much arm waving and swatting by many of the diners. A very tired establishment.
Location is superb, views are just amazing and so close to several excellent attractions
