The view was excellent & great location
room very small even though we paid for a superior. Also very noisy stompy people in the room above ours (7) which did not sound as though it was carpeted. Noisy pub next door until the small hours.
The view and position - close to the ferry.
Very small room. No breakfast for the amount of money. Too many stairs and inflexibilty with very disabled guest who struggled to climb them. No help or proper accommodation for the disabled.
We had an upgraded room that was poor. Wouldn't have liked a basic room!
An overnight stop before Plymouth Ferry. Good breakfast. Good staff What we needed
The hotel does not own the restaurant - we thought the restaurant ok - just No news channel in English
We stopped here for the night before our morning ferry back to Plymouth. The location is amazing overlooking the harbour and a short walk to the bars and restaurants of Roscoff. Great little pub adjacent selling the local Rosko beer. Helpful and friendly staff, clean room, powerful shower
The room was a little small for a superior. The Wi-Fi didn't work in our room.
The food in the restaurant. Sea view. Proximity to car ferry.
Noise from the bar below room.
Location Staff very helpful Rooms comfy
Breakfast poor selection No tea or coffee in bedrooms
Pleased overall. Old lady at reception sweet and helpful despite not knowing English. Room comfortable, exact requirements met on arrival (we needed an extra bed). Right next to the port so very convenient.
Five minutes from ferry terminal, lovely sea views from rooms, pleasant receptionist, room had all we needed
Seafront location View from our room Friendly welcome and help throughout our stay Attached restaurant
- The location was great, minutes from the port. - Just a short stroll from the centre. - Sea view. - Even with a language barrier we communicated well.
Rooms were small, but we weren't expecting much. - If the toilet roll holder is my only issue, much can be wrong.
Good location for ferry Fantastic view from room Accommodation for bicycles Friendly receptionist Comfortable bed Clean
Room had unpleasant smell - improved after keeping windows open for about 1 hour. No tea or coffee facilities in the room Broken shower head No guest lounge - (needed on a very wet day!) Room / hotel in need of modernisation
Sea view. Helpful receptionist. Proximity to very nice seafood restaurant. Internal decor and pictures. Close to ferry port.
It rained heavily, on and off, all night. The room was hot so we needed to have the small window open. The sound of rain dripping onto the large tin windowsill kept us awake. The receptionist told us that an early breakfast (from 07.30) was available to fit in with ferry departures, but this was much too late for check-in by 07.45.
Probably the best location in Roscoff, wonderful sea views from the restaurant, breakfast room and bar. Very friendly staff, the most important! Very good restaurant. Ample breakfast. And sitting at the Albatross bar overlooking the sea with a glass of beer from Roscoff's brewery is a delight. Parking was easy, if there are no spaces outside the hotel there should be plenty on the jetty opposite.
Some of the descriptions are rather economical with the truth eg "The private bathroom provides a hairdryer and free toiletries" -not true, the (only?) hairdryer has to be got from reception and the "free toiletries" are a bar of soap and some shower gel - hardly any extra to usual provisions! "Rooms at the Logis Bellevue Hotel have sea views" - well, some rooms have wonderful views but from mine, if I looked beyond the courtyard, over the arch and across the road, I could just make out a small triangle of water, but only at high tide - otherwise I saw a triangle of rocks. Also to note: soundproofing is very poor, thankfully my friend had the room next door but I could hear every word of her TV and we could tell each other what time we coughed during the night. Not good if your neighbour is a snorer or a couple up to frenzied nighttime activity! This is the main reason why I wouldn't recommend it. It's only a 3 storey hotel but disabled guests should note there is no lift.
Excellent view and location. Very friendly staff. Very convenient for the Roscoff to Plymouth ferry (Brittany Ferries). Excellent value.
Slightly tired feel about the hotel decor. There had clearly been a recent flood with watermarks all over the hall carpet upstairs.
This was our third year at the Bellvue which is an excellent location for the ferry and to explore the lovely seaside town and surroundings. Our son, daughter in law and two young children also came with us this year. They had a superior triple bedded room which had an additional pullout bed to accommodate both girls. The room had been updated and was excellent. Our room was very near and comfortable with older style decor and bathroom.
We always have difficulty connecting to the wifi and this year could not connect at all. Our double room was very noisy, thin walls so could hear conversations on either side and noisy water tanks every time someone had a shower. Luckily we wanted to get up early for the ferry otherwise it would have been annoying. More sound proofing needed.
Room was clean ,comfortable and window to the sea
No refreshments in the room and arriving later would have been nice to have a hot drink. Parking.
Lovely views. Friendly staff
Music Noise from the Pub below the hotel went on late into the night
The hotel's location was good and the room had a good view.
The bedroom was small with limited storeage, the bathroom was also small with a very basic shower. Ok for one night but not ideal for a longer stay.
Easy access from port and short walk into town centre. Good restaurant attached too.
The hotel was fine but sadly the rain was incessant during our 24 hour stay.
The courtyard was excellent as was the view.Breakfast was dreadfull.
Do not stay here if you like Comfort. The walls in the bedrooms were that thin you could hear them in the next room breathing!!!
loved the staff and the location.falling asleep to the sound of waves.Dont expect modern minimalist its a little dated but thats what makes it perfect
could do with more plug points .
view for our window was amazing. The room was a good size and the bathroom was spacious and spotless. The staff were very helpful and polite, very eager to please. Had food in restaurant which was excellent and nice pub next door
