Cube Hotel

Buena relación calidad precio. El hotel no está en Avignon sino en Villeneuve-lès-Avignon. Para los que reserven este hotel y quieran visitar Avignon sólo tienen que cruzar dos puentes. Les tomará de 10 a 15 minutos andando. El hotel dispone de parking privado.

Reservé una habitación individual y las almohadas eran demasiado grandes para lo pequeña que era la cama.

Su ubicación. Desde su terraza se podía apreciar la ciudad de Aviñón y, en unos 10 minutos a pie, estabas en la ciudad.

El aire acondicionado demasiado ruídoso. El desayuno calidad precio muy desajustado, poca selección donde escoger y caro.

Friendly and professional staff. Nice view to Rone, big terrace. Good price. Very nice oysters bar just across the street.

Olivier, our host, was very friendly and helpful....spoke perfect English. Rooms were clean and quiet. Lovely view from terrace. Easy walk to the town.

Mattress was very firm.

Perfect location, easy to find, had little balcony. Car parking behind hotel, ok. Wild irises flowering by the railroad tracks (no noise). Lovely breakfast area. Close to historic city center. Dog friendly.

Only French breakfast - bread/cereal based. From the next house the people let their dog out to run free on the street by hotel door, we had to run and hide with our small dog.

Nice design, comfortable rooms, beautiful view on the Rhone river and Avignon.

Staff

Great little hotel. Just 15 minutes walk into the old city of Avignon. Staff extremely helpful and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful view over the River Rhone and the old city from our hotel room and breakfast terrace on top has great views as well. Room on the small side but everything clean. Also very quiet at night apart from small amount of noise from other rooms.

Bathroom small and toilet very awkward to get to.

Good hotel for short stay. Quiet place, view to the river from the upper floors. Big terrace on the roof for not windy weather. Balcony. Friendly stuff, place for the car. We were in october, I don't know how it is in high season...

A little bit far walking to Avignon - about 20 minutes crossing the river. Location near railway, but to be honest, we heard no trains.

Run down, messy location, no reception service after 8.30pm, tiny shower room with toilet squashed in corner, provided 'special deal' taxi to car hire location (approx 6 kilometers - 18 euros).

Our first two nights in Provence were spent at the Cube Hotel which we chose primarily because we had rented a car for our trip and wanted a place outside of Avignon (and it's very narrow streets) that provided parking and easier access to drive to other Provence towns. The Cube Hotel was perfect for these reasons. Located in Villeneuve-les-Avignon, which we actually found less touristy and just as or more beautiful than Avignon, the Cube provided free, safe on-street parking and easy walking access to Avignon's or Villeneuve's central districts. The gentleman who checked us in was very helpful and provided maps, recommended restaurants and places to see. Room was modern and clean with balcony and beautiful views of Avignon. Overall, a great place to stay and highly recommended.

Excellent hotel with very friendly owners and staff and great value for money. The rooms are very comfortable and clean and an excellent breakfast is available at a reasonable price. It's location is ideal being only a 20 minute walk into Avignon and with plenty of parking spaces available around the hotel. This was our second stay here and we'll be back on the next occasion we go to Avignon.

Good situation with good views, helpfull staff and easy free local parking.

I have just travelled thru Italy and France stopping at 5 cities on the way, and this hotel was the best in terms of hospitality, location and nearby restaurants. Fabrice and Remy who were the reception people, went out of their way to cater to my needs regarding connections to trains, arranging taxi service and providing me with local non tourist restaurants and general information for the area. Nothing was too much trouble, considering I could not speak their language fluently. Olivier, the owner prides himself on making his staff professional and always catering to hotel guests needs.

The only thing I would say is that the room was smaller than I expected, but clean and had a small balcony.

Excellent, excellent, excellent staff. Free parking. Free wifi. Minibar in room. Nicely converted, modern hotel. Great soaps in bathroom! Great shower. Rooms have lovely view of river and Palais des Papes. Rooms have big terraces. Lounge on roof is lovely.

No kettle, iron, or extra pillows in room - not necessarily negatives, just something to be aware of.

Friendly staff, very helpful with baggage, suggestions for local trips and restaurants as well as local transport links. The rooftop terrace with wonderful outlook was great. I liked the location because of the access to the countryside and villages like Les Angles and Villeneuve de Avignon as well as to Avignon itself.

No complaints, but some decor in bedroom a bit tired.

Located a 15 min walk into walled city, easy to leave car, bus service close by if needed. Stunning view from bedroom & balcony of river and Avignon city. Breakfast very good and great value for money. Staff outstanding, very helpful especially advising tourist highlights and locations.

The staff was warm and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and the location of the breakfast room gave a good view of the city. Good value for the money.

Very friendly staff. We had a room with balcony overlooking the river which was lovely, very relaxing. Breakfast on the panorama terrace was wonderful.

Lack of choice in restaurants within walking distance (2) although another was due to open soon.

If you can walk 10 mins from hotel to city of Avignon the situation is fine.

The staff especially olivier were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is well located just across the bridge from Avignon. Easy to park our car. Great views of Avignon and the Rhone river. Easy drives to Orange, Nimes, Gourdes, and Rousillon.

No elevator but if you park in the back of the hotel, the top of the hotel where breakfast is served is only two flights up.

The hotel has free parking and was reasonably comfortable.

We booked the triple room as it was the only option left. This room did not live up to the great reviews that we had read on the web. The bathroom was very smelly ( mould/mildew) and the room comparatively ex waive. bed was reasonably comfortable but no none mentioned that freight trains pass directly outside of the door. I would only select this hotel again if I was able to get balcony room.

Good location, nice design, breakfast terrace with nice view. What was the nicest thing that totally make the stay in this hotel of my wife satisfied is nicest set of shampoo! Super idea!
