Logis De L'Etang  

Cucuron is a very good base for walking on the hills (consult the tourist office for paths) and Hotel De L'etang is a nice hotel with everything you need.

The lady who takes care of the place is very friendly and helpful but you could smell her chainsmoking in the lounge even though she tried to smoke outside as much as possible.

The hotel is charming, clean, very reasonably priced and has a wonderful staff who make you feel at home.

We loved Cucuron as it is not a town with lots of tourists. It has a few shops for essentials and a delightful cours/square with its unique etang which our hotel room overlooked. Our accommodation was extremely comfortable - a large bathroom and lovely furnishings. There is a private lockup area at the back of the hotel. The owners were very obliging about receiving emails addressed to us and passing them on.

The accommodation was lovely. However we felt that the floor tiles should have been swept more often - it was dusty and felt dirty when we were bare footed! Granted, the mistral blew whilst we were there! Not a complaint, just an observation.

This is an excellent, small, family run hotel in the heart of a village with great character in the south Luberon area of Provence. It gives convenient access for walking, local markets or histoiric towns such as Aix-en-Provence and Avignon.

This was a lovely place although quite remote - it's perfect if you want to tour the surrounding villages like Ansouis, Lacoste, Bonnieux and Gordes. It doesn't have many shops or bars, so a trip to Pertuis which has a huge supermarket is a good idea as you can have picnics in the surrounding countryside, which is idyllic. The staff were helpful and friendly and recommended places to go.

Chambres et accueil sympathiques

Le confort, la chaleur en hiver (chambres d'hôtes toujours glaciales en hiver et literie froide), la literie impeccable, la grandeur de la chambre, le parking facile et l'accueil.

La chambre était près des climatiseurs extérieurs et donc était un peu bruyante..mais perso, cela ne m'a pas gênée...

Le cadre charmant et l'accueil attentionné, De l'espace dans la chambre et la salle de bains.

Sehr grosses Zimmer mit allem wichtigen. Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel.

Bett war sehr durchgelegen. Am Abend und in der Früh hat die Hotelbesitzerin sich sehr laut unter unserem Hotelzimmer unterhalten und geraucht.

leuke ligging! prettig dat je auto afgesloten kan worden geparkeerd.

wel mooi vers maar zeer karig ontbijt.

Situation de l'hôtel dans le village qui est lui-même idéalement placé pr la visite du Lubéron. Grande suite spacieuse et fonctionnelle; environnement végétalisé; calme; bonne literie; propreté des lieux; direction affable et à l'écoute; petit déjeuner en terrasse, varié, bon et copieux (excellent café) . a 2 maisons, restaurant étoilé d'Eric Sapet, talentueux et tout à fait exceptionnel à prix raisonnables. (2 menus uniquement). Mon séjour = 3 nuits(et non 2 comme indiqué)

Le cadre très agreable avec chambre ouvrant sur l'étang et les immenses platanes autour. La chambre charmante, très confortable et très propre. L'accueil sympathique, la disponibilité des hoteliers. La possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner en terrasse, à l'intérieur et dans le jardin.

Tout le calme,le lieu petit village et hotel qui mérite le détour,le village et ses habitants fort sympathique qui souhaite garder leur identité sans en faire un lieu trop touristique
