The room was very clean.cleaning every day. The crew is kindly and smiling, trying to please you. The hotel is 200-250 meters from bus station. For ski vacation, walking with ski boots 250 meters, twice a day,it's too far.so I carried the boots to and from the lift. Next time I defently rent a car,if I want to stay in this hotel.

The views. The many flies in the dining room and the noise from a party group at 2am banging the front door on numerous occasions and shouting!

Easy parking, nice mountain view from the breakfast room On arrival, I was unable to get checked in until a visiting postman went in search of some staff. Breakfast was greatly improved at the weekend, bigger range of pastries, hot pain au chocolat etc. The patio area had a couple of tables, some dusty plastic chairs, and the swimming pool was green. Not very inviting in hot weather.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent service The location of the hotel requires a bus/train/taxi to Chamonix town centre. Public transport unreliable in the evenings. Hotel would be ideal for guests with their own cars.

The location is very inconvenient. It says Chamonix but it's way out of the way. Once the train stops running, you will have to spend a good 30 euro cab to get back. Also after mid-night there is no cab whatsoever and the hotel front desk is closed too so there is no one to contact. The receptionist is very helpful but it's challenging to understand her English at times, especially on the phone. Hence you can't really get the help when you really need it. I had to ask someone else on the street who speaks French to talk to her. The hotel lobby smells like gasoline with the fireplace on. Definitely NOT a place to stay if you are young and want to party in Chamonix after a day of ski.

Quaint hotel. Yummy food. Very helpful staff! Rooms are a bit dated but goes with the character of the hotel. Restaurant is pretty good. Escargot and fois gras were one of the better choices. There is also a fondue dish but I didn't get to try it. Location is a bit far from the center with shops and cafes, but there are free buses for transportation. They do run a tad on the slow side so be ready to wait with a coffee in hand.

Good location, convenient for all th lifts and not too far a drive outside Cham. Even if you don't have a car then the bus service up and down the valley is very good, and free to hotel residents. Friendly staff, I even had one come and suggest I was best not to park in a certain spot because of snow falling from the roof. Nothing really.

Price was reasonable. Location was good. Room was clean. Some of the facilities need attention. Examples: Chairs in the game room were very rickety, some even falling apart. Detached ski storage room did not have working lighting and, as far as I could tell, the boot rack did not heat/dry boots as it should. Also, the lobby are smelled of kerosene for some reason. Hotel staff seemed only moderately knowledgeable about about things that I would have expected them to know regarding the area and transportation.

The staff was very helpful and the hotel was very warm and welcoming. Very close to the centre of Chamonix, which is a beautiful village to visit, apart from all the mountains. Will definately go again one day!

Position and comfortable but simple room with fabulous views towards Aiguilles & Mont Blanc Food was disappointing and despite booking we were unable to get a seat in dining room for 3/4 hour. Bathroom would be better with a proper shower rather than a bath

Very nice and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Hotel should install shower curtains/walls in the bathrooms. It was impossible to take a normal shower standing without having water all over. Great shower is a dream after full day of skiing.

The food was great, staff in general very helpful and friendly The service in the bar was not very good. All of the staff had dinner together at 6/6.30 until approx 7.30. During this time it was difficult to get served, even though it was advertised as happy hour. We came back one day to have crepes but were told that there was nobody available to make them. The bar also ran out of bottled beer.

The second time I have used Booking.com and I will use the site again and would not hesittate to recommend the site - on both occasions, the hotels booked have been first class for service, value for money and friendliness.
