Lovely place, a bit remote but if you like the countryside it's fine. The food was fantastic; a really excellent menu prepared by chefs who obviously care about food.

1980's décor, basic accommodation. It didn't promise any more than that but we chose the place because of the food reviews. We heard that the place is being sold June 2014 so qualities may change.

Beautiful building in lovely setting with nice walks from the hotel. Very quiet and tranquil. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff who were very welcoming to our dog and gave him lots of fuss and attention. A very good breakfast.

    Nothing!

Unique situation. Good food and local beer. Friendly and helpful proprietress. Convenient for travellers to/from Paris. Nice breakfast.

Room and shower-room/toilet far too small. Running water outside charming to look at, but too noisy for good sleep!

Made very welcome by the manager. We started to converse in French but she spoke good English. We arrived quite late but she made sure that we had an excellent meal. It was a useful stopping off point on our way back to the channel ports

The bedroom walls onto the corridor were quite thin and we were disturbed when other guests returned to their rooms after we had gone to bed.

Great location with a lovely decked seating area built over the river. Clean basic rooms. Good breakfast.

We were one of only two couples who had booked a Sunday/Monday stopover but had not been made aware that the restaurant was closed on Sunday evenings, and had to go out to find somewhere for our evening meal. Not only was this a great disappointment to miss out on what promised to be a very attractive menu. But there was no staff on our arrival. Our two sets of keys had been left on a table in the foyer with a note of welcome. We found a very good pizzeria in the next village, but before we went there and on our return we would have liked to have had a drink, but there was nobody at the hotel to serve us, and claims that 'snacks made with quality produce are available' was certainly not true On our return we decided that we would sit out on the terrace with our own bottle of wine drunk out of our tooth mugs, but by this time someone who appeared to be some sort of reception manager had turned up and he sheepishly provided us with a bottle opener and some glasses On Monday morning we had a good breakfast seemingly set out by the same person, and whom we paid on departure. That we were not made aware of the unavailability of the restaurant on Sunday evening was a disappointment, but the lack of staff was very unprofessional for a hotel that claims 'Qualite Tourisme' status.
