Tranquil setting, very quiet and well maintained grounds. Excellent food , regional menus. Very polite and friendly staff. Large bedroom and large bathroom with bath and shower.

It was so peaceful and everyone, staff and guests so friendly. Food was excellent English was well spoken

Just outside Lyons-le-Foret in rural setting, sitting in the garden having a drink after a very hot day was so relaxing!

This is a good value for money hotel. Rooms are basic but comfortable. The added bonus is that there is a swimming pool (outdoors) The restaurant is excellent value for money with a good choice.

The food was excellent. Madame speaks wonderful English although her husband has none. I think he is the cook. We stayed there on our way to the Dordogne and on our way back home. We were in the main house the first time and in the cottages on our return. Both were excellent.

Wunderschöne Lage in einer sehr schönen Landschaft.

Zumindest in unserem Haus war die Einrichtung (Wände / Tapeten usw.) ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Uitermate vriendelijke ontvangst door mevrouw zelf. Perfecte kamers in afzonderlijke gebouwen (type cottages) Groot domein perfect onderhouden, mooie glooiende gazons prachtige rozenstruiken. Zwembad met grote ligweide. Restaurant gezellig en heel lekker eten, goede wijnen en alles vriendelijke van prijs. Een aanrader, wij komen hier zeker nog terug!

L'ensemble du domaine est très bien piscine un peu fraiche mais très b ien entretien des espaces verts et fleurs : très bien accueil tout à fait bien

A pretty hotel in very beautiful surroundings. The owner and his wife are very welcoming and helpful. Peaceful and relaxing.

Pas de bière pression , ni même un verre à bière . La bière bouteille est servie dans un verre à eau.

Although a little off the beaten track it proved to be an ideal stop- over en-route back to the northern ports. Charming hosts. We stayed on a Sunday and we and one other couple were the only guests. Despite this, we were given the whole range of menus from which to choose and the food was excellent. We stayed in the main house - a very large room, furnished in typical old french style. A very quiet location in its own parkland.

Nothing. We would definitely use this hotel again if in the area.
