Beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The hotel has an excellent menu with friendly staff. Although only a one night stay this time the children remembered staying when younger, enjoying the pool, visiting Paris and enjoying the walk/fitness route we found.
Very friendly welcome from the multilingual hostess. Very comfortable and pleasant surroundings. A large and well managed garden with outside seating. Drinks are served here if wanted, or in the lounge. Excellent food, charmingly served in a well- appointed dining room. This was our fourth visit.
A peaceful ambience, warm welcome, good accommodation and first rate dinner. The location is great if you are in the Pays du Bray or Vexin regions and the hotel is set in an attractive landscape with outdoor swimming pool. Parking is easy. Good value for money. We would definitely go back.
Our second visit here. A lovely location just outside Lyons la Foret - quiet & peaceful. Friendly owners. Excellent dinner. Good parking. A very good overnight stop.
All good if you like an older style hotel in a tranquil setting with a good restaurant.
Atmosphere, location & outlook Good breakfast.
No fridge or kettle in the rooms, no WIFI in the rooms. Unable to take car to the room after a night out
The grounds The restaurant The location The staff
Rooms pretty basic and lack imaginative flair.
Friendly welcome, lovely food, pool.
The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It's just a short walk into the village which is stunning. The food is good and the staff are helpful and friendly. We' ve rebooked for September.
Not much. Towels could have been a bit softer maybe. Nothing dire.
Food always good.
The position of this traditional hotel is wonderful. The grounds and flowers are stunning. It is very peaceful. The owners were charming and very helpful.
The bathrooms need a bit of updating perhaps.
great location in French countryside very friendly owner will return again
The very helpful owners.
In the countryside, no road noise but only a 15 minute walk into the nearby picturesque small town. Large tables / lots of space in the dining room plus good food / varied menus. Good sized room, big bed and big bathroom, all very comfortable. We were the only guests staying that night. It may be more noisy in summer - has a nice swimming pool and adjacent area for drinks etc
Nothing - it suited us well for an overnight stay
Our 3rd visit. Lovely surroundings good food and friendly staff
The location and the ambience. Good meals with plenty of choice. Friendly staff.
The room was well appointed with excellent en suite facilities. My wife particularly loved the outdoor pool and I enjoyed the relaxation of sitting by said pool! The dinner was excellent and we were well looked after by the owner and his wife.
Nothing it was fine
The gardens, the peace and quiet and the cheeseboard.
Room very old fashioned -1970's too much brown. Restaurant looked promising but failed to deliver. Presentation and garnishing of dishes very poor. Supermarket packet croissants and pain au chocolat at breakfast, yugh!
