Cleanliness and general condition of the building/room. Location.

Wifi didn't work (as seems to be the rule in France) and the welcome sheet had a reccomendation to "call the service provider" (!!!!) in case of technical problems. Big no-no.

We had a very pleasant overnight stay and the service given to us by the staff was excellent. Will certainly stay again when in the area.

In every way this hotel is excellent, except for an uncomfortable atmosphere created by a severe and unpleasant management style.

the hotel was ideally placed for us to visit the Grand Cascade the next day. We had 2 rooms next to each other which was ideal as a family with teenagers. The staff spoke english better than our french - which was helpfull. The food in the resturant was wonderful and there was an excellent choice for breakfast. The room was clean tidy and fresh with a brilliant shower I could have spent all morning under.

The staff were excellent - all helpful and friendly. The rooms were very good, well appointed and recently renovated. The restaurant was excellent: we stayed for three nights and ate each night in the hotel to sample the Pyrenean specialties prepared by the chef. The trout was perhaps the best we have eaten; the AOC mountain lamb grilled in the chimney in the restaurant was not only memorable but exquisite. The hotel is set in a high Pyrenees valley with magnificent views to the eponymous "Breche de Rolande". We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends.

Very small room, no space to enjoy. Despite that reservation was for a room with balcony, the initial room was without. After two nights the room was changed for one with balcony.

This is a very nice hotel with perfect rooms and excellent servis. The dinner was also at a very nice level with perfect servise...to be recommended ++++++

Perfect for walking in the Pyrenees. Little village with a shop and cafe for breakfast. Good restaurant. Breakfast looked expensive, but we didn't take it. Bedroom recently refurbished to a very high standard with comfortable bed and excellent bathroom.

Having visited Luz-St-Sauveur many years ago we wanted a hotel in this area. We were very happy with our choice which is further up the valley, and is quieter and not so touristy. We wanted to visit the Cirque du Gavarnie and Cirque de Troumose and this was an ideal base. We were drawn to the hotel as it had been refurbished and were not disappointed with our rooms. Our rooms were at the back and although didn't have the fantastic moutain views from the front of the hotel,(although not bad) they were very quiet. Most importantantly they were very clean with very good ensuites. Don't be tempted to eat anywhere else other than the hotel restaurant, the food was excellent. The service was very good and the staff very helpful. My daughter left her shoes behind and they posted them on without any hassle. Overall a very positive stay.

The accommodation at the Logis Hotel La Brèche de Roland was of a very high standard as were the facilities. The food was excellent and the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The Hotel is on the doorstep of many excellent walks.

The hotel was a real 'find' in such a remote area near the Spanish border. We enjoyed everything about our short stay, the room and its view of the mountains, the comfortable bed, the dinner and the breakfast. The lady of the house, Odile, is very friendly, helpful and charming. We would have happily stayed much longer if our agenda did not insist that we move on. We highly recommend the hotel for its accommodation, food and friendliness.

Friendly, interested manager ,helpful Staff ,inviting and memorable place to stay with all the mod cons .Ramon was a highlight of dinner along with the food.Location is picture postcard.

Lack of bar fridge in room and no tea/coffee making facilities in room- but this is common in many places in Europe. ( no biggie)

Le calme et le niveau de qualité des équipements avec une chambre et une salle de bain qui sont tres spacieuses et confortables. Tout ca tres bien chauffé. Tres bonne isolation phonique. Le buffet copieux, bon pain et viennoiseries L’accueil du couple qui tient cet établissement. Sympa, pas impersonnel et bien intentionné Accepte les chèques vacances ancv comme tous les logis

Les menus et la carte du restaurant trop classiques même si la cuisine est bonne.

L’accueil et la présentation de notre chambre nous ont tout de suite mis en confiance; le design moderne de l’hôtel depuis sa rénovation complète et le grand confort ainsi que le calme et la tranquillité, tout y est pensé pour le bien être des visiteurs. Après un petit moment de détente dans le bar joliment décoré et on peut passer à table ou une carte et quelques menus qui mettent en avant la cuisine du terroir et les produits régionaux ainsi que d'excellents vins du territoire ! le petit déjeuner est très complet et il ne nous à manqué de rien (les gâteaux maison sont délicieux) Un excellent chois pour une escapade romantique ou même quelques jours de vacances entre amis ou en famille , le personnel y est fort agréable et les 3 étoiles de cet établissement sont vraiment méritées.

Quelques éclairages supplémentaires dans le restaurant pourraient être envisagés ou bien peut être des bougies pour s'y sentir encore plus cosy !
