Anne marie was the perfect host, she could not have been more helpful & welcoming...her breakfasts were incredible. Her restaurant nearby was amazing food...a real treat....highly recommended
Everything was fantastic from the moment you stepped through the front door. The balcony room which allowed us to take a leisurely drink while looking at the back drop of Honfleur. Breakfast was a feast of bread, cheese, fruit, cakes and they were laid out with meticulous precision. Only a five minute walk into the hustle and bustle of Honfleur, this rustic venue is somewhere we will definitely stay again when in the area.
Location, decor, free parking in an area where parking space is at a premium, small rooftop patio adjacent to our room, breakfasts.
The fantastic location, host and food We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone
Friendly owner, fab breakfasts, good location in Honfleur, loved the boxer dog
No parking with the accommodation
Anne Marie was "out of this world" (she made me feel so "at home") The Bistro in city center was a great experience Experience got better as days passed...
Not having a TV set in my room
Parking was a little bit more challenging than we expected.
Hostess Anne Marie was extremely welcoming and prepared excellent breakfasts including delicious home made brioche and even tarte aux pommes on one morning! Superb home-made jam/marmalade with perfect croissant. She has a restaurant in town, Bistrot des Artistes, which is a must-visit although she modestly did not promote it! Guest house in its own sweet courtyard off quiet street, just a short max 10 mins walk into main harbour area. We parked at the other side of the canal 'basin' for €4 per day - just 5-10 mins walk.
Hard to criticise! 2 sun beds on deck adjacent to room, larger bed and more powerful shower would make for a perfect 10!
The house was comfortable, clean and the owner was very helpful and friendly,But you would need to be able to speak french to understand. The house it is not a Hotel it is Ann-Marie home and she make you welcome. The place was full of interesting art work and the roof terrace would be wonderful in the summer with plenty of space and good views
Only downside was that the web site did not make it clear that she does not accept cards and we had to go find a bank to withdraw cash. There also did not seem to be much choice at breakfast but it was very french and good all the same.
