Hotel Losset  

We stayed over night and had booked a table at the restaurant next door (Restaurant Simon- also good!). The rooms were large, well appointed and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful mangement/good facillties/wifi etc. The location (in a village) was also quiet and would also be a great base if one was visiting the local vinyards etc. It's a quiet hotel without it's own restaurant but provide a wonderful breakfast with carefully prepared fruit pots, bread croissants etc, ham and cheese (very strong coffee!- Although they'd provide any strength you asked for/teas etc etc). Altogether the kind of care and attention to detail that you get with some good b and B's- but less likely at a hotel. (This is a small hotel). We would go back without doubt.

Just be aware it's in a small village/ has no restaurant- but definately no complaints/dislikes for us!

Excellent - faultless!

It was a jewel in the middle of Burgundy. Lovingly kept by the owners. A real surprise! Everything was new, beautiful and clean and the breakfast was superb...homemade jams, fruit from the garden.

Beautiful little family run hotel in tiny village in the Burgundy region. Sandwiched between Nuits St George and Gevrey Chambertin.Really well presented rooms and great breakfast

No restaurant but there is one next door but beware its closed on Sundays and Wednesdays

Hotel above all categories. Very nice people, very nice room and bathroom, delicious breakfast...

This hotel is next door to a very good restaurant Restaurant Simon and we pre-booked dinner in the restaurant for our stay. The owner was very welcoming and patient with our limited French. The room was spacious spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast the following morning was superb with home made preserves and freshly prepared fruit, attention to detail was excellent and it showed that the owners had previously been restauranters. We would definately stay a bit longer if we visit this region again.

Excellent, quiet location, very clean, spacious and gracious (if not English- speaking) hosts. Overall highly recommend.

We had one of the largest hotels rooms we have ever stayed in, complete with lounge area. Although it was in the middle of a village it was very quiet. Very helpful landlady.

There was a shower attachment over the bath but no shower curtain.

the owners, which were also taking care of the hotel, were very nice (although they didn't speak English, the basic French we knew was enough); in the morning they prepared a very tasteful and healthy breakfast.

the room was not clean - there was a lot of dust everywhere (on the furniture, on the floor...) and the carpet was dirty, it was clear that it hadn't been vacuumed in a while... also, the room wooden floor made some terrible noises when we walked... we stayed at the first floor, on top of a restaurant in the same building and until closing time there was a lot o noise from the restaurant, especially when they were cleaning the dishes... too bad for the large and nice room and for the nice owners... i don't understand how this hotel can have a rating on 9.2 considering all these issues (cleaning I think is mandatory)

Great stay in a clean big room. Nice old couple that only spoke French were very nice. The price was fantastic for what we got, easily the best value of our entire trip. Very near some of the most famous and well known Burgundian vineyards. Great breakfast for 10 euros.

It is an unassuming very pleasant little family run hotel. The owners were attentive and very helpful. There is no restaurant as such, but thrre is one next door and the town of Nuits St. George is not far. The hotel does provide a very nice breakfast at a modest price. All in all, highly recommended for a stopover or short quiet break in beautiful Burgundy!

It was a bit difficult to find on my VW sat nav! But that is not the hotels fault!

A beautiful large room. Great breakfast.

We took our 19 month old, there is no where locally to eat before 7pm. Restaurant Simon to expensive and pretentious for family market.
