Location location. Great for the Metro and tourist sites but still in a very quiet location. Plenty of cafe and eating places around. second visit which was better than the first time.
Thought breakfast was poor on first visit so didn't try it this time. Lift is very small.
the location was great. i likes it's size. it has a smaller intimate feel.
fantastic location quiet street no noise stylish décor friendly staff
dark corridors! no ventilation in the bathroom
Everything. The staff were great ( we don't speak any French) they were soooo friendly. The room while small( as expected ) was great. The hotel was central to everything. It was a fantastic choice and would stay there again and again. Thank you for having us. Xxxxx
Nothing. It was perfect.
Standard price, have stayed in better
Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff and a decent sized room (you don't go to Paris to stay in your room), a bath and a shower was something of a novelty for Paris. Needed the excellent air-con given the hot weather. Breakfast was good value and competitive and the staff were always helpful with any queries (one even looked up something on the Interweb when he didn't know the answer). Perfect base for the Louvre and the Palais Royal metro was just a two minute walk. Plenty of good places to eat nearby with prices to suit every pocket.
Location and helpfulness of staff
The location was ok. One person on staff was helpful.
the room was miniscule, dirty, frightening.
Great location and value for money. Very close to Louvre. Enjoyed our stay
Ended up getting the Accessible room - was a bit noisy with the underground train below.
We have stayed here about six times and it's a great little hotel. You can hear the Metro rumble and the lift is tiny, but it's a friendly and perfectly located hotel.
everything, but most of all -location!
nothing to comment
The location is the best aspect of the place; everything in walking distance! The toilet was renewed and was very clean.
The room itself is a bit too small and needs some refurbishment.
Location was good and all staff very pleasant and helpful.
Basically a two-person lift or one person and suitcase at best. Corridors very, very narrow and the odd extra steps once out the the lift. The bed was uncomfortable and certainly had your feet over-hanging the end as well close to 6 foot tall. While accepting European rooms are small by standards elsewhere, you almost needed traffic lights in the room to pass one another.
Location is practical, just a few steps from the Louvre and the Palais Royal
A room for 3 adults was actually a queen size bed with a cot - the shower knobs were hard to operate, and the shower hose was leaking all over - wifi was a bit slow
Nice and close to everything
the unstable table for breakfast
The location of the hotel is excellent - next to the Louvre. We could walk to all the main sights. The staff were friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our luggage on the first and last days.
Very very small rooms.. Not value for money at all. Breakfast no choice at all ..for that too expensive ..
The Hotel is so close to the Louvre that you could trip over it! Accordingly, the hotel is just a tiny block away from the metro. There are lots of Cafe/Brasseries near by, in addition to full scale restaurants all within walking distance. Front Desk is friendly and helpful and you start to feel comfortable and "at home" right away. The Hotel has character, yet is on a quiet street. Would book again!
To be clear: I had NO problem with my room but I would caution North American travellers that the rooms are perhaps smaller than what they are used to. That said, as one reviewer noted, you don't go to Paris to spend time in your room!
Helpful staff good location.
Tiny corridors. Worn, drab and old fashioned rooms. Very sub standard. Certainly not 3 star stansard compared to anywhere else I have stayed.
Perfect location, cozy room with a nice design though small.
Difficult to get the booking of the hotel.
Location was fantastic . Bathroom and shower excellent . Room was small note enough room for two bags
Was nice surprise complimentary wine in room.
Location and shower!
Tiny room, very dark
I liked nothing about this hotel.
The concierge couldn't even speak English. The room was tiny. The bed was tiny and may have been a concrete slab with a sheet on it. The wardrobe had broken shelves. It was more than obvious that the owner of this cesspool had no concern for guests. It was inly about collecting money.
