Price was reasonable, location was good, and service was good.
Carrying suitcases up flight of stairs. room was very small, floor uneven, no view, bed was very low.
Incredible location, wonderful staff.
My room was comfortable and of a reasonable size with a better bathroom than I have found in three star hotels in Paris.
Sole negative point was that my room was on the fourth floor and there is no lift. Not a problem for me but was for my pregnant work colleague in a room on the same floor.
Loved the proximity to the Metro, Louvre, & cafes. The bed was incredibly comfortable.
Location in Paris was good
-The room was completely different as indicated on the website. -The room we had was not refurbished for over decades and it was gloomy and to a certain extend dirty - the entrance was just a door, no lobby, breakfast was OK'isch however the breakfast room was tiny. - as said the main point was that our room, 23, did not even come close to the pictures on the website, it even did come close, the room was very very old fashioned and definitely needs to be refurbished.
Very expensive for the price. No facilities or no shower either only a bath. Carried own suitcase up the stairs. Staff ok but not good service Tiles broken & hanging off the wall in the bathroom. Room very very tired & old. Would definately not recommend a stay.
The location is very near Louvre Museum, it is excellent if you have short time in Paris. The staff is friendly, English speaking
There is no lift, so it is hard to bring heavy luggage in the stair. The room is not sound-proof, so you can hear the sound from the next room.
people at reception were friendly and spoke good English
Room was tired. No sound-proofing between rooms so we could here every word of the late phone conversation that our neighbour was having - which is why the quality of sleep is low- and then when she left at 5 in the morning!
Staff and location
Facilities, the room. No hairdryer, iron, or TV. Tired decor, dirty carpets, dreadful room.
Location great,quiet to sleep,
Plastic underlay on bed, made you sweat, they don't make your bed or change sheets.lots of stairs if you stay at top.
Location and Wifi.
Air conditioning did not work.
Location is very close to Louvre & Metro System.
It is Paris so rooms & bath smaller than we are used to. No lift...lots of steps.
Lovely bedroom one of the renovated ones. Really comfy beds, lovely toiletries, quite rooms
50 steps up to bedroom - though knew to expect that 'twas funny by end of weekend! Mess when we arrived. System down tried to put us in old section - thirty minutes later finally got into our room. Suppose was late at night.
Not easy to find but easy to get to very close to several of the establishments I was visiting for work. Staff were very kind, friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and plenty of hot water. It was also very clean.
Small and a bit shabby and it's not exactly the cheapest I was expecting a little more, the entrance in particular left a lot to be desired
Bed, Shower, Location, Service.
Humming sound of the heater or some extractor fan throughout the night.
The STREET NOISE, the COLD WATER, the CRACKED TOILET, the MOULDY CHIPPED BATH, the POOR LIGHTING, the MISSING TILES, the UNCHANGED DIRTY BEDDING.....WE REALLY LIKED LEAVING
Having to stay in what is, relative to its expense, a VERY poor quality hotel. LOVE PARIS, HATE THIS HOTEL
Location and cleaness. Staffs are helpful.
The price is expensive, but the room and the facilities are not worthy of such high price.
Old room furniture, bad and old carpet looks really bad and horrible toillet, no cortines in the bath tube and old broken shower. They also mentioned private parking space in the hotel description but it's a lie.
Location to the louvre and tuilleries garden and to the opera garnier.
Smell in bathroom and heat of room, glad to have a fan though which made it perfectly fine
We had one of the nicest rooms which we booked with a half price deal. The bathroom was fantastic, great shower, comfortable big bed, friendly reception. Huge bathroom. Free Wifi.
No elevator, lots of stairs! No fridge or kettle in the room. The room itself is tiny, barely fitting the large bed, although the bathroom is huge. Would have been nice to be able to make tea.
Location is nice - 5 vin to Louvre
The hotel is dirty. all the carpets throughout the hotel in some pyatnahyu rooms are small and old. Heard neighbors and side and top. Untidy bathroom, tiles partly not. Strange smell throughout the hotel
Fantastic location I messed up booked standard rooms one with a double bed in and a single bed and the other was a small double bed in the other room. 3 person room lovely overlooking street, 2nd room very small rubbish outlook and real problems with floor sloping, I asked if I could upgrade it wasn't possible, the 21 yr old and the 16 year old boys had to sleep together and our 14 year old girl had to stay in with the boys so if you are like us with older children book 2 three bedded bedrooms, but location fantastic,
Stairs can be a problem, and floors sloping
You can get to several places by walking from the Hotel. Palais Royal and Pyramides stations are so close. Great service from all the staff, thanks so much for your attention, we would certainly come back!
No lift at the hotel, little complicated with our luggage. Is good to have breakfast at the hotel cause that way you save time but after 3 days of eating the same is no longer yummy.
Compact size of the room. Thought it was advertised as being much bigger than what it was
