We were extremely impressed with the service we received at reception. The gentleman at reception from Monday to Friday (don't know his name) was very helpful and informative. He was always friendly and we found all the information he gave to us very helpful during our stay as it was our first time in France. We would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family travelling to France. |

Location in the center of the city, very close to the Louvre and Notre Dame; quiet and clean hotel, large room for a triple. Very nice people in the reception, very helpfull. Price: 200€/ night for a triple room, the breakfast too expensive and should be inclued. |

I really liked the location of this hotel and the design of the room was nice. We booked this room receiving a decreased rate, which made this room worth it. I would never pay the full rate for this room. It's much too expensive! 1) Room doors: Anytime someone would enter or leave the rooms, the doors would slam and make a horribly loud noise. We were awakened several times because of this and were not happy about it. 2) It's very difficult to have a standing shower. We took baths every night. |

Superb location, just yards from Chatelet Metro station with its 5 Metro and 3 RER lines (one stop to Gare du Nord and Eurostar.) Notre Dame, the Marais and the Left Bank all within an easy 15min walk. Our room certainly wasn't huge, but the staff were helpful and we are already planning to return. |

The hotel was clean, safe, the facilities were lovely, and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful regarding directions to tourist sites and for taking care of any difficulties. I would recommend the hotel without reservations. The public computer was old and slow. The hotel was working with technicians to improve Internet service, and free wifi in rooms had just been installed. |

The hotel was clean and tidy and were located close to many of the famous attractions in Paris. Also located in a quiet street so there were little noise from traffic. Over all I really enjoyed the stay, and would really recommend the hotel to others. |

That the hotel was so close to an excellent bakery. The day staff were excellent. We paid for internet and could not access it. It will be free later in the month in your room, but that won't help us. Also, one night the hotel smelled like B.O.It was the night clerk. |

The hotel was centrally located. The surrounding area left a lot to be desired. The streets in the immediate vicinity were so smelly (urine everywhere) it was hard not to gag. The dash between hotel exit and metro was most unpleasant. A tramp was waiting at the hotel entrance, propped up against the building ready to greet us most of the time. On entering our room, the bed cover featured a large stain (some form of human excrement), On removing the cover, we were presented with several smaller stains. Suddenly the urge to rest after a long trip had passed. The size of the 'Superior' bedroom was also less than adequate, anytime here was spent shuffling between bed and cupboard. When asked if we could see a standard double room (we could not believe a room could be any smaller than ours), the receptionist suddenly lost all English. We suspected that we were given a standard double not a superior room as booked - after all who is going to moderate this on a regular basis? |

The attitude of the staff, and the friendly room. The location of the hotel was also excellent. The paintwork could have been repaired on the door of the bathroom, but that is only a minor issue. |

Location, price, helpful staff except for one person. Hotel was clean and met all our needs. Maid service was outstanding. The female desk person was arrogant and not helpful. The two male staff were the extreme opposite. No one told us the room had air-conditioning. We had one hot day that we could have used it. |

Super location! Nice staff, clean room. Great restaurants and bakery near buy. Perfect if you are going sight seeing and/or shopping Size of room, too small and very basic for the price. Bathroom not great, sink didn't work and toilet was in a funny tiny separate cubical next to bathroom. |

The hotel was in a good area with easy access to the tourist area and the metro The room did not sleep 4 adults which is what I requested. There was a double bed and a twin as well as a round chair from the 1970's which I ended up sleeping in so that three adults were not crammed into the double bed. |

This was the second time I stayed at the Hotel Louvre Rivoli. The hotel is very conveniently located to major attractions (near the Louvre) and to the Metro. Though it is right in the middle of the city, its location on a side street makes it feel more quaint and its not very noisy. The staff are pleasant and very helpful. The recent renovations are very attractive. The showers were very narrow and the shower head not functioning at its best (2/3 the spouts were working). |
