Unfriendly staff and no attention to detail. Small and somewhat unkempt
Location is good, but that's it.
Windows not so soundproof, gap between pictures and reality, partly very dated fittings, arrogant staff at reception of no help. Think there are far better hotels in the neighborhood.
I really liked location. Everything was just there around you. Also Staff were very excellent, they had a good skills of English. The room was veeeery nice with a small balcony and the room was very quiet. Also stairs were good to use. I really like to use stairs when available and this was excellent for that. Excellent hotel which I defenitely will use again.
The breakfast was quite poor, and my friend mentioned that the first Morning there wasn't anything left to eat at 09:00!! Also the price of 13 EUR was too high compare to quality of breakfast.
Room was spacious, bed comfortable, location great. Loved the big opening window with the window seat in front.
Price - but probably no different from other Paris hotels, all of which seem very expensive.
Helpful staff Centrally located next to Louver Rivoli station. Rooms are clean.
The rooms are too small with its rates. Rooms are a little bit noisy for it is around the corner of a street and the window is not that soundproof
The location was great for walking to many of the major sites. Metro stop was a minute away. A few nice cafes in the area too. Breakfast was worth the extra too.
I wish the front dest staff had been a little more helpful. We gave up asking for suggestions on where to eat and transportation other than the metro.
Very handy to most of the sights of the city. Adequate for space and general facilities.
Variable staff quality, with some unhelpful and some very good.
Location of the hotel is really good with most museums, sights etc. within walking distance. Reception staff pleasant and helpful.
Basic breakfast not particularly good value.
way tooooo expensive! bad attatude of receptionist. extreamly small !!!
Location minutes from the Louver, Notre Dame, Les Halles (when reopened) Pompidou Centre and even Le Marais. Recently renovated with compact rooms boutique atmosphere.
Breakfast seemed expensive but didn't take it so cannot really say. Cafes are seconds away anyway.
This hotel was in a good location (the street smelt like urine but that is not the hotels fault, Parisians pee in the street) The facilities were good. Breakfast was basic. The man at reception called Guy was very helpful and very nice.
When we went to check out I realised we were going to be over charged approximately €46. This was rectified and we departed. The next day I received an email from the hotel telling me that I was undercharged €2 and they had deducted this from my credit card in a separate transaction. My bank fees on an international transaction are more than €2. It was your error Hotel Louvre Rivoli, it was only €2 for heaven sake. The girl at reception when we checked in could not have been less friendly or less helpful had she tried.
The location was fantastic and the boys at reception were excellent!
The deposit for the tv remote and paying for internet and the use of the room safe we're quite a shock! Also a fridge in the room would have been a bonus I find they are included in all hotels I have ever stayed in.
You can't ask for a better place. The location is perfect. Close to everything and our favorite Boulangerie on the corner. And one of favorite bars was not too far as well (Bears Den). WIFI is very fast.
Staff was so so. We had made the reservation months ago and didn't realize the breakfast was not included. My bad. But wish they had told us when we checked in. At 13 euros per person per room, is a bit pricey. Luckily, I found out on the last day and warned the group to skip the breakfast. So we were spared one day at least. Despite that, it was all good.
Location, location, location Great service; staff very helpful and accommodating - thank you. The room (although small) is very well renovated and one can see an interior designers hand in the decor - great job.
The size of the room could be a detriment to some, but was absolutely fine for a short stay (1-2 nights). For a longer stay, a larger room with a comfortable sitting area for two would be better.
Location, staff, price, rooms, ease of booking... Loved everything
Not a thing!
The location was great. The bathtub!!
Maid did not clean room everyday.
Unlimited WiFi access. Easy check in and check out. Hotel open 24 hours; late homecoming not an issue. Balcony. Mini bar. Big T.V.
Comfortable accommodation, nice and quiet but close to lots of tourist sites
The staff was very helpful when I needed questions answered. The breakfast was amazing, cappachino machine! There is a small ramp to accommodate my scooter and they let me keep it down in the lobby to charge up. It had CNN, which my daughter has to watch every day! Very close to the Louvre Museum. We walked there. Also a lovely pastry shop near by.
I asked for a handicapped accessible room, and even tho the shower was a walk in, there were no bars to hold on to, also no bars next to the toilet. I should have asked for another room, but we were only there two days so we let it go.
Friendly staff, mini-bar, no noise, central location, comfortable bed, cleanliness.
near metro,city center
very small elevator.
Location is very close to subway. A very short walk to Shopping area and restaurants. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Good size room for Paris standard. A/C is working well but location above front door of my room means that cool air does not circulate well. Either too warm when set at normal temp or too cold when lower the temp. For the rate I booked 3 months in advance, it is a good value for money.
Eventhrough You are tuck away from the main busy street, but those thin walls between rooms may keep you awake. People talking and door slamming may wake you up during very late hours Bed is a bit on harder side for my taste.
Convenience next to Rue de Rivoli, nice neighborhood, quiet street! The staff is responsive and accommodated our request.
Nothing to report.
As a young couple wanting to do lots of sightseeing this hotel is in an ideal place, very close to the metro and in walking distance of many attractions. The room in itself was clean and freshly rearranged everyday by the cleaning staff. The bathroom facilities were also good with a powerful power head. The hotel, although in the middle of busy Paris is quiet and the double glazed windows keep any noise out such as police sirens which can be heard alot in Paris.
The room which we stayed in 104- executive suite was much smaller than expected, so much so that my partner went down to reception to ask if we had been put in the correct room. The pictures on booking.com and also other sites show the hotel rooms to be much larger than they are. When we asked at reception we were told that we had the last executive room available and were told that if we were so bothered we could ask again in the morning. Another thing that could have made the experience better would have been if the shower head was actually at the correct height to shower, we have to bathe and use the shower head when in the bath due to not wanting a dead arm when washing. The last thing is that, although there is a bar in the reception area, there was never a bar attendant and it seemed that no one used the bar area, which for us was a great pitty.
