Central location, near to great beer house!
Room not serviced until late p.m.
- perfect location, very close to metro Chatelet-Les Halles - good breakfast - good size of the room (for Paris ;-)
Good service from the staff, clean, nicely decorated room, fantastic location. Comfortable, great shower, quiet room.
The room was a bit small, but that's normal for Paris. The coffee at breakfast wasn't brilliant, but again, that's a small thing.
The 2nd room we were given was nicer and the shower was in a bath tub, so there were no flooding issues.
The room (101) was smaller than expected, then when my girlfriend took a (2 min) shower the first morning, the whole room flooded. It took us 30 mins to mop up the water, and although we were offered a different room, it wasn't ready at the time (and we had somewhere to be), so I had to go without a shower for the day. The receptionist offered us some free croissants to make up for it, but we were on our way to lunch, so that wasn't much use. I followed up with the hotel manager after the stay, but he wasn't prepared to offer any discount for the inconvenience, which was disappointing, especially as both receptionists we spoke to acknowledged that it was an on-going issue with the shower (they clearly checked us in the room, knowing it would flood!). The manager did offer an upgrade on our next stay, but we don't have any plans to return, so that wasn't any compensation.
Close proximity to Bus and Train station. Located close to most of familiar spots. Good service and value for money.

I am not a "Solo Traveller". My 76 year old Mum and I were sharing a room, but there's no relevent box to tick for that! Staff were lovely, & very helpful. Our room was nice. We liked the fact that we could open the windows when it was a bit hot & stuffy. Hotel is on a very quiet little street between several much busier ones, so it's not noisy, but you are VERY near lots of places to eat, theatre, Metro stop etc. The bathroom & shower were lovely, though every noise in the bathroom can be heard from the bedroom! The foyer area is great, with a computer that guests can use (I don't know if there's a charge, but I doubt it), a lovely "open" fire, comfy chairs, and a bar... well... it looks like a bar! See my negative comments for more about that! Our room had a safe, fridge, and plenty of hanging/storage space. The blurb says "Tea & coffee making facilities". There was a kettle, mugs, and a couple of tea/coffee sachets, but see negative comments for more about that! All in all we liked the Hotel. It was in a perfect spot for us as we were seeing a show at the Theatre du Chatelet which is just around the corner. It was also very handy for the Chatelet Metro stop. Our only slight hesitation in booking it again would be that the beds were a bit hard for us, but all french Hotels are probably the same! (It's a long time since we've stayed in one!) Mum said that because of the beds she wouldn't stay there again.. I definitely would go there again, and would highly recommend it to anyone! :-)
There was no information about anything whatsoever in the rooms, including breakfast! Because of this, we didn't eat eat breakfast at the Hotel. We found a lovely Patisserie two doors away where the prices are very fair (all the locals eat there!) and it has a delicious choice of things all day long! Our room was supposed to have tea and coffee making facilities. When we arrived late afternoon, after a LONG day of travelling, we were gasping for a couple of cups of tea/coffee each but were quite taken aback to see that there was only one mint teabag, one fruit teabag, 2 sachets of coffee, and no milk whatsoever! Not exactly a welcoming supply!! When we went out later we asked the receptionist if we could have some milk, and some more coffee etc. He looked at us blankly and said that milk is never supplied in the rooms! Weird!! We just sort of stood there, slightly taken aback for a minute, saying "Oh, ok, we didn't realise that", then he said he'd see what he could do, went off, and came back with a little jug of milk for us, and a couple more sachets of coffee! :-) We were VERY grateful! The next day we found a handy grocery store very near by, and stocked up with a litre of milk and little jar of coffee which lasted us right through our stay. (Luckily the fridge had plenty of room and we fitted milk, and litre of orange juice, and a few apples etc in there, which was great!) The lack of supplies wasn't a big problem, it would just have been nice to know in advance, then we'd have taken some with us! We came in after the theatre one evening, and decided it would be nice to sit and have a drink in the Hotel bar as the reception area is so nice... only to be told that the bar had no alchohol except Heineken.. which neither of us wanted! So back to the room we went, looked in our mini bar, and there was only lager and Vodka, neither of which we fancied either, so it was coffee again for us!
The room and bathroom were beutiful
Excellent well furnished room with a large Ensuite for the size of the room.
The big shower was a favourite of ours. And Laurent at the welcome desk was more than helpful.
The air conditioning didn't work so we found our room very hot in the middle of the night.
Position Is quite good close to everything and to the subway connecting to CDG
Staff extremely unfriendly, duvet in the bed too small and bathroom quite uncomfortable
The location of the hotel is bang smack in the heart of Paris, trapped between the Seine and the Rue Rivoli (shopping street).
The room lacked enough natural daylight, being on the top floor windows were small and limited, and in fact - there was no option to pull away the blinds. Very strange. The bed was extremely basic, and very low. The blankets and the pillows were anything but fresh, and I wouldn't want them touching me. The bathroom was a mess as well - with only a bath tub, the only way you could have a shower was to stand in the bath tub, trapped in between two narrow sloping walls, and in fact I couldn't stand straight (I am 6'2) if I wanted to wash my hair. Also - the bathroom had no lock, and was only separated by a frosted glass wall. Not nice when you are going to the loo... Overall, not impressed at all.
The location was excellent. Almost all main attractions are within walking distance. The price was good.
The glass partition and door of the bathroom. Even if it is sandblasted you could still see motion through. The Taxi service of the hotel is VERY EXPENSIVE. We took their taxi service at 16:00 in the afternoon to visit some friends at their hotel near Eiffel Tower and they charged us €28.40. Returning back at 01:00 in the morning we took a taxi from outside the hotel of our friends and it cost us €11.00!!! Some of the staff was not so helpful. Probably due to communication difficulties( their English was poor). The breakfast was very poor. Fortunately there were lots of places around we could eat.
It was a modern room exactly as is depicted on their website. Decent sized rooms for Paris standards in a good central location on Paris. There was a nice little patisserie on the corner which served up beautiful pastries, coffee and freshly squeezed juices - we had breakfest their on 3 occassions during our stay. Shops close by and most attractions within reasonable walking distance to the hotel. Didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food.
The room wasn't ready when we checked in despite being handed the keys and it being well after 3pm. However they did address the issue immediately and we were in our room within 15 mins.
Staff were a bit grumpy and not v helpful. Felt a bit soulless
NO PARKING!!!! SMALL ROOM
Unfriendly staff and no attention to detail. Small and somewhat unkempt
Location is good, but that's it.
Windows not so soundproof, gap between pictures and reality, partly very dated fittings, arrogant staff at reception of no help. Think there are far better hotels in the neighborhood.
I really liked location. Everything was just there around you. Also Staff were very excellent, they had a good skills of English. The room was veeeery nice with a small balcony and the room was very quiet. Also stairs were good to use. I really like to use stairs when available and this was excellent for that. Excellent hotel which I defenitely will use again.
The breakfast was quite poor, and my friend mentioned that the first Morning there wasn't anything left to eat at 09:00!! Also the price of 13 EUR was too high compare to quality of breakfast.
Room was spacious, bed comfortable, location great. Loved the big opening window with the window seat in front.
Price - but probably no different from other Paris hotels, all of which seem very expensive.
Helpful staff Centrally located next to Louver Rivoli station. Rooms are clean.
The rooms are too small with its rates. Rooms are a little bit noisy for it is around the corner of a street and the window is not that soundproof
The location was great for walking to many of the major sites. Metro stop was a minute away. A few nice cafes in the area too. Breakfast was worth the extra too.
I wish the front dest staff had been a little more helpful. We gave up asking for suggestions on where to eat and transportation other than the metro.
Very handy to most of the sights of the city. Adequate for space and general facilities.
Variable staff quality, with some unhelpful and some very good.
Location of the hotel is really good with most museums, sights etc. within walking distance. Reception staff pleasant and helpful.
Basic breakfast not particularly good value.
way tooooo expensive! bad attatude of receptionist. extreamly small !!!
