Great location. We were close to everything so we walked all the time. Hotel staff very friendly. Smallest elevator ever but it worked fine.
very good location
a litle to small place in room
after staying in 'charming' parisian hotels, with no air conditioning or sound proofing, the best western was heaven on earth. air conditioning, reliable wifi, a lift to upper floors, quiet and very comfortable rooms, awesome location for sight seeing, safety, and dining...there are great brasseries close by. and le louvre. it's right there. we slept well at this hotel, and were refreshed after having a few tiring weeks of travel. did i mention great (great!!) staff? i will definitely stay again.
Being close to Metro station, walking distance to Louvre and the Seine - good breakfast
Everything was good
Location is excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful.
I arrived back late one evening during my stay. The door is kept locked at night for security. Alone, I arrived back to the hotel about 1 am. Front desk staff was busy elsewhere and I waited 5 minutes or so for someone to answer the bell and come open the door. Small moment of discomfort, anticipating being locked out all night...on the other hand, there is comfort knowing the door cannot be opened at night unless a staff member releases the lock. I was greeted with a smile, despite the late hour.
everytime there is only 1 person at hotel. everywhere is slim. breakfast is poor and you can find less things to eat if you come at 10am even it lasts until 10.30.
Staff communicative, supportive and positive. Comfortable environment and excellent location. Room allocated precisely on ground floor according to our needs.
Slight odour of dampness in our room
Perfect location close to Louvre and all attractions. Friendly staff and deluxe category rooms were large for Paris. Definitely will be back.
Wi-fi connection was a bit unreliable but not too bad
Very good location , can do everything by walk !
Television never worked
1- the are very small, the bath too 2- I paid 1340 euro for 4 nights!!! 3- I wait for the staff in the reception more than hour from 13:10-14:10, he was at lunch and nobody in the reception!!!! When he came, he give me only one key and I asked for the second, he don't explain to me where is the room, and the breakfast!!!! 4- the elevator for one person, max two persons without lakagges.
The location was excellent. Close to the louvre and good shopping and restaurant choice. The room was comfortable even though a bit smaller than we are used to but that was not a handicap as we didn't spend a lot of time in it.
There was nothing that I would highlight as an issue but just be warned that the rooms can be smaller than what we have encountered across Europe. It was not a problem for us as we expected it to be small after reading other reviews.
I have to say all staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpful except Frideric Desplat.
I do not the service the attitude from one staff by the name Frideric Desplat. He is very rood and I think not helpful. he intentionally give me wrong information and refuse to give 2 beds rooms as requested in my reservation.
Very close to Louvren and the metro.
First of all I was so glad to receive your e-mail suggesting this hotel because I had no where to stay after an overnight flight and a terrible welcome to Apartment Paris 10ème Canal Saint Martin which I had rented through Booking.com.
so convienient and central to metro, RER & nightlife.
Friendly reception personnel
Room and bathroom are really small I don't like the smell of a kind of room perfume, makes me feel sick, then if you open the window there's a lot of noise from the streets, although I asked for a quite room...
The wi-fi didn't work the last night. After using the tub for a bath, it was impossible to remove the water. The plug was stuck. This was not fixed during the stay. We suspect the room-maid to remove the bath water by using the electric kettle which is kind of disgusting. The hotel informed us that they had a private taxi driver. We ordered a taxi for transportation to the airport. The staff didn't inform us that cash payment was required. The taxi driver had to stop at a ATM for cash withdrawal. Arriving at the airport he didn't have any change to give us, so we were forced to give more tip than we planned.
I liked the location of the hotel. The staff was very nice with the exception of one person.
The price is to high for the level of comfort and cleanliness of the place. The lobby furniture was not sturdy and the bar tender was always in the computer that was for the guest to use.
Nice king size bed. Location close to the Lourve.
The elevator was the smallest I've ever been in. Sign says max occupancy is 4 people. They would have to be average size people. I had trouble getting into the elevator with my canvas bag & camera bag. Hallways very small. My room & the next on were right on top of each other. The room was a decent size, but the metal drain cover in the bathroom sink was rusted. Check in time was at 2pm. Check out is 12 noon. I could have left my stuff there so I could do more sight seeing, but I didn't feel comfortable in doing that. If I ever go to Paris again, I will not
Location close to and/or easy access to Paris' and major attractions. Many local restaurants in surrounding streets.
room was clean and confortable; location was wonderful
We arranged with the hotel for their shuttle to take us to the train station when we departed. They were late and caused us to miss our train. We lost what we had paid for the train tickets and had to buy new tickets. They offered to discount a future stay, but since it is unlikely that we'll be in Paris again, the offer was meaningless. They even tried to shift the blame to us, saying that we didn't allow enough time to get to the train, but they made the arrangements.
The price is too high and that's even after I received a discounted room. This is a small building and hence the rooms are small. Can't believe that for the high price breakfast still wasn't included. You leave feeling you've overpaid.
The hotel we've booked was fully booked. They changed us in a better hotel where we got a suite :-))
