the location and the staff were great

Although the rooms are described as spacious we felt they were small, but probably according to Paris standards they were big.

Only Location

The classic room is too small A very small corridor between rooms , not even enouph for 2 persons to pass at same time, very small elevator only for " 2 person Maximum " For the same amount of money you can book better hotel.

Very close to the best of Paris, great desk staff, lovely room.

The staff were very helpfull , breakfast was delicuios but one suggestion would be giving offers for customers , and just more turisim details for resiedants would be great ... thank you much ..

Miss mia, the concierge, which has been very professional and able to meet the requiremts of the guests, in order to offer the best service of the hotel.

Bad points only i'm afraid. The front entrance was locked when we arrived at 1.30 pm so we had to go away with our luggage and come back in half an hour. Wifi access was allowed for only 1 computer at a time, per room even though we booked for 2 people, making it difficult to get any work done efficiently. The front desk offered no help or flexibility on this issue. The maid opened our door at 8.30 am on sunday morning while we were sleeping and woke us. The coffee at breakfast was instant granules, not filter coffee.

The main reason for choosing this hotel was the location. It is a very easy connection from CDG using Route B of the RER to Chatales Les Halles and then Line 1 (yellow) to Louvre Rivoli ( 1 stop). Buy your RER return tickets at CDG and your metro MOBILS zone 1,2 for each day - Eur 6.40 per day pp. It is then a 2 minute walk to the hotel. Getting around from here is easy. Out the door, turn right to the main street turn right and cross over to the 67 Bus stop. this takes you to Pigale (last stop, great little chilled out cafe on the corner, look NW,called 'Nocturneboule' with a black cat logo, very friendly but not cheap !supermarket next to bus stop - buy lunch to eat later, then a steep walk (up hill) to the Sacres Cour. The same bus drops you opposite Rivoli metro comming back. Out door, turn right, right again then right onto Rivoli , 2nd bus stop along for the 69 to Eiffel Tower. Walk past Rivoli Metro to river turn right and then over the 'padlock' bridge tro catch the Batobus to Notre Dame. Out door, turn right, cross over rue de louvre and keep going, great bakery on the right and then a supermarket further along. Plenty of local restaurants along here - look during the day to see where the locals are eating, the smaller ones are best. Easy walk to Pont Neuf, DOrsay, Louvre, Concorde. If you walk to Madaleine (west) walk 4 streets north of the river for for some fantastic shops.

There is a lot of building work in the area, we were only disturbed once by a hammer drill at 0800hrs on morning one. As you are up and about early it doesn't really matter. No english TV channels apart from BBC World and CNN. The movie channel sometimes shows an english movie with sub titles. Bathroom good and big. Complimentary toiletries apprecciated. You can leave your bags at the hotel until 2100hrs on the day of departure for no cost. Handy tourist maps on the reception counter - take a couple and fold one to the metro, one to the bus and one with the hotel in the centre - easy reference. Don't forget, a plain butter croissant will cost Euro 0.85c in a local bakery, it will cost Euro 4 - 5 in a Cafe close to a tourist spot. GO TO THE SUPERMARKET and buy lunch, cheese bread ham juice pate, whatever EU8 to feed 2 not EU40!!!!!!!!!! Oh forgot - the rooms have safes - handy for passports etc.
