    Not so far from station

No has been my worst experience in a hotel/hostel ever!!! Going straight to the point, I was "eaten" by some kind of insects that left me back, my neck, my face, arms chest full of big red happened during the night as I saw myself the following morning...inmediately checked the sheets and found "a few" tiny insects which I think are flees...DISGUSTING!!!!! The worst part was when I told the receptionist, he didn't seem to be surprised!!!!! ...Nor intended to do I asked for my money back at least and all he did was offer me a hotel card (?) to contact the manager after his holidays!!! After 15mins of heated discussion he called the manager and gave me the money back...however I spend 6 days of my holidays covered avoiding the sun in hot and sunny days...with sort of burning skin! *My boyfriend and I picked this hotel just for its price (55€ / night)...bad thing. Anyway, I have stayed in other budget places even cheaper and nothing has happened. First of all the entrance is dirty and smelly...the receptionist is the same person who attends the next-door bar and they speak just french...just a few words in english. The room was in the second floor, wooden + straight + noisy + dirty number at the door was written in pencil (?). Room didn't seem so clean and was more than small! The toilet faces the balcony...what means you can be seen from outside even when closing window and curtains not long enough. There was lot of dirty hair in the shower and the water remained still touching my ankles until my boyfriend cleaned it...disgusting.

    Absolutely nothing. Don't stay here!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. The bathroom/toilet was a small 2 feet by 3.5 feet block which could hardly accommodate the comode & the bathing area. I have no words to describe how filthy it is. 2. The room is extremely small & very dirty. 3. The wooden floors are broken at places. 4. The outside wall had holes. Don't think it was a concrete wall. 5. The bed made noise when you move. It seemed that the bed would break apart anytime if we move. 6. The area was also not good. This list is endless. Please don't stay here.

The hotel was pretty clean, not the best looking staircase but as soon as we got in the room I was shocked as to how beautiful the room was. It's a bit small but big enough for 2 people. Staff were extremely helpful and very chatty too. Very impressed with what I paid for, right next to Voltaire station which was handy.

There was a leak downstairs in the bar and on 3 occasions we never had water for 30 minutes. Couldn't fault anything else though :)

Nothing was good with this hotel

Terrible, not clean at all. Staff was weird, not friendly, and sleeping in the reception. I think they actually staying in the reception. Yes it is cheap but I am pretty sure that you can find much much better place to stay with paying a bit more. Nothing worth to stay here!

The location was great, not touristy at all. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room is small but who stays indoors in Paris anyway! It's hard to beat for the price.

My only complaint was that the room was not the cleanest. If your not a stickler for cleanliness though, you'll be just fine.

    Staff was responsive.

The room was not suitable to be rented. The window did not close. Even if it had closed there was a hole in one of the panes. The hotel is being refurbished and the furniture was new -albeit very bad quality- but the windows had not been changed yet. The mattress was rock hard. They were working in the bathroom next door and from our room we could hear conversations -held in a normal tone- clearly enough to understand every word. A friend of us stayed in the triple room below us with her two girls. That room was not refurbished, so the furniture was in dire condition. They had a table but the legs were loose, so they had to prop it up against the wardrobe to prevent it from coming apart. Every time we used our shower or washbasin they would have water coming up from the drain into their washbasin.

tiny room, difficult to find the location, room window can not close, on the 2nd floor of a bar, unfriendly counter staff insisting pay by cash.

The older monsieur was very friendly and helpful. They weren't able to get rid of the bedbugs, but gave us some money back.

The rooms were a bit dirty, the worst thing were the bedbugs. Check the sheets for little black spots (excretion), thats a clear sign for bedbugs. If you find this ask for a different room. They "cleaned" mine, but 2 nights later the bugs were back.

    The staff is friendly.

No wifi as planned and no discount, no cleaning each day, we emptied our bin ourselves, noisy room neighbours and no one said something I had to get up twice, when I arrived there was a bunch of hairs on the side in the shower, the toilets didn't work properly so we went in the one in the corridor, no discount either even though we said something the first day.

We liked the location, as it was close to the metro and central to much of what we wanted to see while in Paris. The night manager was considerate and helpful.

Everything else!!! The room was on the third floor. No elevator, and a steep spiral staircase that the steps were warn in irregular patterns. The top flight had an extra rail added to it that was obviously jury rigged and ugly. The bath had obviously not been cleaned after the last guests as their used soap was still in the shower. The toilet seat lid was off and the bottom was not properly attached to the toilet which wouldn't have been so bad if you didn't have to sit sideways on the toilet with your feet in the shower in order to go to the bathroom with the door closed. The toilet also leaked and the rug for in front of the toilet was outside the bathroom and wet when we got there. The shower head was not properly attached to the wall. No air conditioning and no fan and since the window opened to an area surrounded by taller buildings there was little to no air movement. The free wi-fi was extremely limited, only available in the coffee shop downstairs where there were only a few tables and all crammed into a small area. While there was a manager on duty at all times, they required that you turn in the key to your room when not at the hotel. The only thing they did was empty the trash daily, no fresh towels daily. The bed was extremely squeaky so that when anyone turned over, you thought someone was crashing through the room.

Close to the metro station and supermarket.

the beds are bad with a lot of noise when even when you make very gentle move in the bed. Our room is on the 3rd floor, no elvator, very narrow stairs. Worst thing -- there's mouse in the room ate our snack we left on the table. The staff can not speak English, we asked direction over the phone on the way to the hotel, the staff was not able to help at all, it took us a long time to find the hotel.

A great location to discover Paris and a friendly host who helped us to call a decent taxi for our ride to Charles De Gaulle Aiport at 5am with a reasonable price (around euro 50).

A little bit noise at night (by other guests)
