Location of the hotel: the Brasserie: the lounge and good service. Overall we had a good experience.

Problems with connecting to the internet in the business centre and the high cost for usage.

Everything is convenient.The brasserie serves excellent food.

there is no tea or coffee maker.

Good location, great concierge service, good restaurant options and lounge.

Overall, the Lutetia has a very tired feeling. Out room need updating and we paid for a junior suite. The lamps were made of plastic in our room and there were other missing touches for a hotel of this caliber. However the staff are well trained. We won't stay there again because it just needs some perking up! I hope they figure out how to make this happen!

Actually.. It was a very pleasant surprise and it will be a must stay for me and my wife whenever in Paris..

I like that the hotel has a history, a narrative to "tell" and that it's a grand style hotel with art-deco design. I like the dynamic bustle in the lobby during the day and the quiet relaxing atmosphere in the bar at night.

Rooms could use some upgrade but good value for the money

We were given a spacious room overlooking the Square Babylone and the Bon Marche - which we had requested. We loved the atmosphere of the bar, where we relaxed and enjoyed tea and an aperitif.

We love the Lutetia for its history, atmosphere, style and location. The hotel honored our request for a room overlooking the square and the Bon Marche department store.

Our room was small.

The view from our beautiful room the convenience to the city and neighborhood the restaurant and lobby bar.

I left a valuable piece of jewelry out and it was not returned by housekeeping. It was too big to be picked up by a vacuum cleaner obviously housekeeping too it.

Room was quite large, good location.

The conference room was not ventilated.

- Very good ; - fair pricing; - fair service, except for the incident described in "what didn't you like" item;

- "split" bathroon in Room 747, quite unconfortable;

despite changing rooms twice over our 3 night stay, we were still happy with the hotel. we found that your staff were extremely polite (rare in Paris!!) and would come back to La Lutetia particularly for that reason. the hotel decor etc is also very nice and the seafood in your brasserie was also excellent.

.....the young lady who "greeted" us at the restaurant could have been more in keeping with the warm welcome of the hotel and a smile for customers would not have been amiss..... Question 5 yes for Lutetia, but reservations about the general Parisian welcome. visitors can sometimes be shocked by the level of rudeness in shops and restaurants.

Excellent and responsive staff in every area from check in, to concierge, housekeeping, business center, bell hop all were excellent!

I never wrote a review but saw myself compelled to do so as a "in good faith" advise for other travellers: Hotel: It may be historical; yet, old and needs a good deal of face-lifting from inside. It is more appropriate for a 3-star kind of hotel. Concierge: Rude, unfriendly until he sees Euros in your hand. Check-In/Out: Staff neutral, not extremely welcoming though! Lady made a mistake charging my card – mistakably charged twice and evidently was rejected the second one; so, she was trying to make me accept that they may charge me again, even though I had her see the message sent from my bank on my mobile that my card was charged! She was somehow aggressive rather than apologizing for her mistake; so, I had to give her a piece of my mind. Room: I took a Junior Suite N0. (440) – NEVER take it (I accepted it as I was only staying for 2 nights and it was near my niece’s apartment that I came especially to visit)! View is the back of the hotel; so practically, no view! Room’s interior looks really cheap, Furniture is OLD, like the one you might expect in a granny house that hasn’t been remodeled since she got married. The sitting area is not small; yet, seating for 2 persons, 3 would be tight. The sleeping area is right-sized and the bed is comfortable (Have to admit that). Conclusion: Not a great experience. Quality vs. price is an issue. May be worth “visiting” and taking drinks or coffee in the lobby but NOT to stay in.

The location is unbeatable.

We were chosen as "guests of the day" for booking online and upgraded to a junior suite. Aside from a good position in the hotel it was a terrible room. The bed was good, but everything else was desperately in need of a redo. Old is fine, but lack of attention to detail at those prices is unforgivable.

This hotel still has an elegant ambience due to its splendid architectural exterior facade and the interior public halls and restaurant. However I wonder why the topmost decorative stone elements were covered up by some sort of canvas cloth? Hopefully they will be restored to their original beauty. I also appreciate that the room was spacious and very quiet.

On the other hand, I was not impressed with the furniture of the room. It was old, chipped and shabby and needs to be replaced. Also the bathroom floors were not very clean in the corners. The breakfast was over-priced so we went to the corner cafe instead.
