Overall, the hotel was clean and comfortable but small which is typical in Paris. The location was good for public transportation. Also, many good restaurants and attractions including the Notre Dame, Cluny Museum and Luxembourg Gardens within walking distance. Some of the hotel staff was not helpful/properly trained with assisting with some minor problems. For example, when I had made reservation with the hotel I had a requested an airport shuttle for transportation to the hotel and received confirmation. However, upon arrival at the Paris airport, I called the hotel since I was having some difficulty contacting the driver of the shuttle but the hotel staff was not helpful assisting me to contact the driver and recommended I take a taxi. I instead sought helped at the airport from the tourist information booth who assisted me how to contact and call the toll free number of the driver. The taxi would have been extremely expensive! The continental breakfast was not included in the room rate and somewhat expensive which included only coffee and croissants. I believe the cost was 13 Euros per person. I think the breakfast should have been included for the price of the hotel per night. It would been great to receive it in the room every morning or to come down and enjoy it in the nice cozy room/lounge available in the reception area!

Courteous, helpful staff and great location The hotel is dealing with a nightly "bum" who lays outside the hotel, drinks heavily, is loud and hassles people on the street. This woke us up on more than one occasion and even though the hotel staff tried to deal with him, he just returned.

Location. Relaxed atmosphere. Beautifully appointed rooms. Unfortunately the air-conditioning was not programmed to work on this very hot weekend, which detracted from the relaxed ambiance.

Was able to get a connecting room...decor was attractive...bed was very comfortable. The room we stayed in needs more lighting and a shower curtain (the bath tub was a combination shower and tub).

We loved the location of the hotel, nearby different metro and rer stations, all sorts of restaurants and breakfast locations. Very safe area, also if you return late at night. For a city, quite a quiet street. We stayed with our children age 9 and 7 and had the family room. Beds were very comfortable and for French standards large! We thought that the parent's room was also spacious, considering you are in the city centre of Paris. We loved our stay and we would definitely go to this hotel again. Price/quality is very good. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel, since there are nice other French Brasserie's on the very nearby Place de la Sorbonne (2 minute walk).

Location in a nice area for strolling, restaurants and shopping. Bathrooms are prefect. Rooms small but acceptable, reception and entertainment areas small and of inferior quality.(they felt like a two-star hotel) You have to pay for breakfast but it is a good one. Overall hotel good but too expensive for what you get!!!

The hotel is lovely, quirkily decorated and in a terrific location opposite Park Luxembourg and close to the market, St Germain and Latin Quarter. We only stayed on night but the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was a good size with shower AND bath. Air conditioning made the stay very comfortable as it was a very hot weekend. The staff were very relaxed and friendly and we would definitely stay there again. The lift is tiny but essential as there are four floors.

Extremely good location, I spent 9 days on food wondering round, very happy. English Bookshop Baily's Books just around the corner. The lovely staff esp the boss, whose smile was one of my favourite sights in Paris. Yes, the lift is tiny, but if you are too big for it, perhaps try the stairs. The Luxumberg Gardens are extremely close and it is a side street so not as noisy as some others. Absolutely charming hotel, with rooms that actually worked very well despite not being huge.Breakfast is delicious, though I only had it there about every third day, since there are so many good cafes around. I traveled as a single woman, and always felt very safe there. Just delightful. computer and nice desk to work at, made it very easy to keep in touch with home. Could not have been happier. No complaints, had a wonderful time and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

My experience was very positive. The hotel is in a excellent location, it was very clean, the bed extremely comfortable and the bathroom clean with a big bathtub. It is not a place with a Wow factor but is is definitely good value for money. I reccommend it.

Location was excellent. The price with the promotional deal was great. The room was nicely designed, and was very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Customer service varied depending on who you have at the reception desk. Most of them were pleasant and helpful. There was some confusion and debate over the room rates for a "single" room with twin beds at the time of checkout, and they wanted to charge 30 euros extra per night for an additional person, which was excessive.

The bed is very comfortable and the toilet is clean and new. Nice rain shower and I love the shower heater temperature control part. The lobby and rooms are nicely decorated and the receptionist are very friendly and helpful. The room was too small, only enough space to walk around our bed and we got to put one of our luggages onto the tables. The room size look very different from the ones we saw in the pictures. There are connecting doors to our neighbour rooms and the rooms are not very sound proof. No auto locks for the door too. Should have more hangers for clothes and towels in the toilet. The room lights are too warm and not very good for reading. The lift is only big enough for one person and one big luggage.

It was near a lot of attractions. Free wifi. Maybe a little costly, but seemed average compared to hotels around. I paid $180 per night.

Good location, quite clean and nice rooms, friendly stuff. Fairly small rooms - we had a superior double and it was fair to small, the standard double are tiny! And the prices are not tiny at all!

It was a delight to stay 8 nights in a very comfortable and elegantly decorated room at this hotel. I was graced with a room upgrade upon arrival, possibly due to length of stay as well as, of course, availability. After a very quiet night sleep - the room's windows are sound-proofed - it was less than 10 minutes walk to he river views of the Seine by Isle de la Citè, although I was easily to distracted by the delicious Patisseries and abundant book shops along the way. It took a few attempts at showering to adjust to it's fully open design- a design that has no curtain or shower screen and can see the whole bathroom flloor splashed with water if you are careless in water flow control.

The hotel is near the Gardens and the Sorbonne. It is not far from shopping on ST Germaine . There is a taxi stand a few blocks away and several good brasseries including Balzar.I didn't see a Metro station. The room was clean but tiny and the bathroom was fine. The quaint breakfast room was in the basement of a very old part of the building. The selection was adequate but definitely not worth 14 Euro. They did give free wi-fi, had CNN and a small flatscreen TV and access to a PC but no printer for the e tickets. The price reflected what services were available While the staff was friendly and capable of getting a taxi, there was really no concierge service or help with bags. They couldnot suggest a dentist for a broken tooth, a good brasserie, or any ususal request. YOU must come prepared with your own itinerary. The elevator was extremely small and scary. It was difficult to manuever in and out of the room

Quiet location. Great access to metro services. StAff was helpful with a few business issues we had to handle while traveling. Small grocery across the street (but hotel had no real kitchen ware like spoons, forks, bowls, or refrigerator, etc) so couldn't buy much more than snack items. Bathroom set up had no real shower area- toilet, sink, etc were always wet. No exhaust fan to control bathroom humidity. Had to put shoes on just to use restroom. Climate control bad- room either cold or hot, no in between. Bed was like sleeping on the ground- very hard. No access to refrigerator. Would not stay there again.

Charming modern style, great location right by Jardins du Luxembourg. Despite booking a superior double it was only just big enough for two. Would have liked tea/coffee facilities in the room, although I believe diy hot drinks could be made downstairs (discovered only as we left).
