This property fulfilled all our needs. Clean, comfy beds, friendly and helpful owners, excellent breakfast, ample parking and in a great location for exploring Flanders Fields

The very friendly and warm welcome

Parking and convenience for my destination which was Ypres

At check in we where met by a very friendly smiling member of staff, turned out he was co owner, nothing seemed to be to much of a problem. At breakfast the two owners always took the trime to speak and where very pleasant. We where staying at Halluin as a base for vists to WW1 battlefields and was ideally situated. All in all it is a very friendly, clean and tidy hotel - will defiantly be staying again.

Very clean , basic accommodation at a good price. The hotel has and is improving under the new owner. We stayed here a few years ago and found it a good base for touring but certainly much friendlier now with hospitable staff. There is a secure car park which is coded entry, and this is a good bonus. The free WI-fi was also put to use.

This was our 2nd stay at Lys Hotel and it was again excellent. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is free private parking and free WiFi, which are extremely useful, and we found an excellent Italian restaurant within walking distance. We are looking forward to our next visit here.

Plain simple no frills budget hotel. No pretentions.

Not the hoteld fault but its a hard town to get a decent meal in.

Staff vere very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless and the towels changed every day. The service was second to none with good secure parking. I would recommend this hotel without reservation. We travel extensively in Europe and this hotel is a little gem, we will definitely be coming back for another visit.

For an underrated 2 star hotel, it was faultless.

We have used this hotel on several occasions over the years as a base for visiting family in the area. It is a good, clean and provides an excellent breakfast.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very fresh and tasty. The free WIFI was easy to use. This hotel is excellent value for money and a good location for visiting the Ypres salient.

We could not fault this hotel and the friendly welcome from the owners was simply the best. They were very happy to allow our dog too. Also secure parking in the grounds.

Zeer vriendelijk. Zeer schoon. Private parking die 's nachts dicht is.

Gastvrije ontvangst en prima kamers voor een of twee overnachtingen. Niet ver van Kortrijk en Ieper. Gratis parking.

Beetje rumoerig vanwege verkeersweg.

Accueil, service, amabilité, petit déj, ambiance et déco très bien. Une bonne adresse et bien situé pour partir en ballade vers les villes touristiques belges et françaises.
