The location was excellent, everything was in walking distance, restaurants, shops etc. The reception staff were knowledgeable and very helpful especially Amanda. Swimming pool very welcome after a day sightseeing. Breakfast was a bit pricey for what it was.

The location was great- near the bustling centre but blessedly quiet, especially at night.Possibility of breakfasting was helpful first and last morning of our week.Shower was reliable and always plenty of hot water.Twice used and enjoyed outdoor pool and was aware strenuous efforts were made to keep it clean. We were lucky with the weather: living area would have been a bit sparse if we'd had to retreat to it from the rain.Ours was a lateish booking so we had a balcony, but our balcony was very small, didn't get the sun and had a wall over which we couldn't see.Chairs on the balcony were uncomfortable.[ Realise other balconies overlooking the pool area were better.]A wee bit wary of the cover /bedspread of the bed settee-its dual purpose demands that it's cleaned anew for every resident-suspect it's not! £500 relatively expensive for two but it was peak season.

Proximity to the town especially harbour. Excellent pool. Helpful staff. Smell of cigarettes- should be no smoking rooms available. Having to pay for extras like kettles and towels etc.

My stay at the Residence Maeva Centre rated good. The location is very good and only a very short walk from the train station. It has a small kitchen with all the utensils, fridge, dishwasher and microwave; a small and reasonable priced grocery store one street over. The furniture is basic but didn't spend much time in the room. Summer solstice (June 21st) is celebrated with a music festival and the start to six days of 30-50% off sale. The pool looks great; although I didn't have time to enjoy it - many guests did. For the budget conscience group of friends or family looking for a basic place to call home while on their vacation in a beautiful sea side town in France, this is the perfect place. The room was definitely clean although appearance wise - the rug was badly stained. Typical European style room - somewhat small. You are also responsible for your own maid service. No air conditioning in the room but had slide glass doors to a balcony.

The position of the Hotel was good for getting around and seeing all the sights. The part time Reception made it difficult. It was closed when we arrived and it wasn't clear how to gain access to the Hotel or our room.

Desk staff was very helpful Limited hours of front desk opening. I was travelling alone, but would have been dissapointed if I arrived expecting to fit 4 adults in that room.

Personnel accueillant.
