Convenience and relatively inexpensive
the unit was for 6 people and we only had 3 people. The unit would be very crowded with 6 people
2 balconies was a real bonus. Plenty of space for drying wet sailing gear.
The apartment would have been really cramped with 6 residents.
close to the Med good for longer stays versus a hotel room view of the port close to the yacht club and restaurants staff helpfull
facility needs an update
Walking distance to the beach and local yachting event
Very , very noisy. External noise from street, wheelies, burn outs, airport noise. Poor ventilation . Lighting failed in bathroom twice. No exhaust fans in wet areas , ventilation poor .Dimly let rooms, unable to read at night. Lighting in hallways always turned off on level that we stayed. Stair lighting automatic sensor doesn't stay on . I would NOT recommend this hotel . Asked for sea view and got noisy car park side . Perhaps if had a sea view experience would have been more positive .
Near to restaurants, a small supermarket and ATM and, crucially for us, the sailing facilities. We had a problem with a drain on our terrace( a large puddle formed after heavy rain), it was dealt with promptly by the staff. A good bus serves gave us easy access to the historical centre of Hyeres.
The apartment floors were very dirty. No mop or bucket was provided, although there was a vacuum cleaner. The stairs to our bedroom were steep and ,with no handrail, were difficult to negotiate during the night. The bathroom was downstairs
If you're sailing in Hyeres then its a great location. Functional for 2 people ( not for 4 as advertised ) , everything works just about and its good value for money.
Its a bit tatty and worn out. the safe stopped working and simply getting the key to open and lock the room was a challenge.
Location close to docks, sailing center and restaurants
Actually too small a space for four adults. Lacks storage space.
We loved Hyéres, it was very good for that money
nice location and placement
no climatization in the afternoon and evening the appartment is a litlebit hot
it's too hot to sleep and no fan provided.it's really not a good choice in early summer.
Price Kindness of the staff
Friendly staff, well positioned for the harbour and sailing, good room. Excellent value
Rooms were very tired, essentially holiday apartment not hotel so not serviced/cleaned.
nice studio. Quite spacious & very clean. Big balcony with evening sun. Very close to lovely beaches & restaurants. Bus stop right outside.
Quite hard to find reception. We wandered with suitcases all around the two blocks that said 'Maeva' and eventually spotted the reception area by chance when we sat down to rest in the gardens. Bigger & clearer signs please! At the back the car-park/road/rubbish collection/drunks were very noisy
The location. The staff were very helpful. The room was very private as we looked out onto foliage and we had neighbours on only one side . The large balcony. The powerful shower. The sun coming through the windows in the morning.
Reception closing at 8 p.m. It would have been easier when we arrived if it had been open until about 9 p.m. The floor was quite dusty when we arrived in the apartment. The mosquitoes.
