Résidence Maeva Ty Mat  

This is the perfect hotel for a family needing a one night stopover prior to traveling by ferry. The location is very convenient for the port (about 15 minutes walk or 5 minutes in the car). The beach is not that far to walk to, and certainly nearer than the port. There are some nice restaurants by the beach. The nearby Carrefour shop is very handy. The bathroom is of a good standard. The staff are very professional and courteous. It's worth noting that we found on arrival that you can stay for a week for less than the price of 5 nights if you book direct.

You probably wouldn't want to stay here for more than one night unless you're sure you'll be out all day. It's best to prepare yourself for this trip by imagining you'll be staying in a cross between a Travelodge and a traditional Butlins chalet. The kitchen area is clean, modern and suitable for making snacks or very simple meals, and there is even a dishwasher. But there is no oven other than the microwave, and only 2 rings on the cooker. You'll sleep on a sofa bed, and the kids will sleep in bunk beds in the corridor leading to the main room. You definitely won't be able to sit out on the balcony sipping a glass of wine watching the last rays of the sun go down unless you're extremely thin or able to take it in shifts.

This is a great location - just a few minutes from the ferry port and close enough to the old walled town to be able to walk. The studio was well equipped. The children liked their bunk beds and the space-hoppers in the play-room.

The sofa bed wasn't that comfortable and the corridors were a bit dark and bare.

Situation géographique. Calme. Propreté. Cuisine bien équipée.

Lit pas très confortable. Parking payant. Chambre pas très grande, ok pour deux personnes, mais pas pour 4.

Petit appartement plutôt bien agencé. Une salle de jeux intérieure avec jeux de société, billard ... pour les enfants, et des jeux à l'extérieur (balançoire et portique pour grimper avec toboggan). Proche du centre et des plages. Nous avons tout fait à pieds.

Chambre très petite. Nous étions au rez de jardin, je suppose que la vue est bien meilleure au dernier étage !! Si on y retourne, je demanderai une chambre en hauteur. Parking payant. Les parents dorment sur un canapé dépliant, le matelas est moyen. Mais on a quand même bien dormi !

Je regrette qu'il n'y ait pas pour un tel prix un vrai lit, seulement un canapé peu confortable

Travaux d'aménagement récents, de bons goûts. Equipement des appartements complet et moderne.Situation géographique très sympa.

Bien dans l'ensemble mais qaund même un bémol: appartement pour 4 : les parents sur le canapé et les enfants sur des lits superposés dans le couloir ! pas très pratique. Ni agréable car aucune fenêtre ou ouverture.on vit donc un peu les uns sur les autres.

Studio 4(взрослых)- реально 2 взрослых (на раскладном диване в комнате) + 2 детей (2-х этажная кровать в малюсеньком коридоре при входе) при бронировании лучше сразу предупреждать что стоянка для машины платная ( а не "может быть платная")

Agréablement surpris par le studio même si le confort du couchage du clic clac ni est pas ... La directrice est TRES souriante : ça fait plaisir à voir ! Bilan général : nous avons passé un très bon week end dans cette résidence située dans une ville super et au calme !

Il sera préférable de dire aux gens que le parking est obligatoirement facturé : 7€ par jour ! Indiqué également qu'il y a des ballons d'eau chaude individuels : ça évitera la douche froide ....

Ce que j'ai aime pendant mon sejour à la Residence Maeva c'est l'accueil du personnel , leur disponibilité . J'ai aimé aussi la proximite de Saint Malo , on peut y aller à pied (pas plus de 7 minutes) et les services de transport en commun où on peut vraiment se promener et leur prix.

Ideale uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. Wij hadden een kleine studio, net groot genoeg voor ons en de twee kindjes van 5 en 9. Niet reuzengroot maar voldoende om te ontbijten en nadien de buurt te verkennen. Een kleine maar functionele badkamer. Leuke keuken met de alle basisvoorzieningen. De ligging is ook rustig, op een 3 tal km van de oude stad of op 20 minuten wandelafstand. Ruime parking, tof zwembadje en behulpzaam personeel. Een aanrader voor jonge gezinnen.
