Travelers should understand that the property is an authentic, family-
owned, 16th century farmhouse and has some of the rustic element of a
real farmhouse, such as spiders, insects, mosquitos, etc. The property
was clean, but "country clean." Also, wifi was only available
in the private home of the owners, and only when they turned it on.
The decor was gorgeous. The grounds were well-maintained. The location
was excellent, because while we were clearly in the country, we were
only minutes from town. It was beautiful, and the hosts were a warm,
welcoming, friendly couple. When we were in a pinch with our late
arrival, the hosts offered to cook us dinner. Conversation with them was
charming, as was exploring their estate and walking through their woods
looking for mushrooms.
