beautiful house and room, nice furniture and carpets in Provance style, big bathroom, english-speaking owner Maya, breakfast included to the price, parking area near the house
no TV and no fringe in the room, no meat for the breakfast, bad soundproofing
central location very nice room good breakfast Very helpful and charming owner.
Delightful house and room in a lovely city, perfectly located to visit the local region. There is a lot to see! Excellent advice and recommendations from our really helpful host. Strongly recommended!
Nothing, for the stay. South of France in general seems to have poor dog discipline.
Location a little distant from center
Maya was an excellent and knowledgeable host in her home and spoke excellent English. She advised places to go and restaurants to eat at and all were excellent recommendations.
Away from the tourist area but near to eclectic shops and bistros
Maya our hostess made our stay; friendly helpful and knowledgable.
Everything is fantastic! Maya is a nice lady and helpful. Clean and big room.
Maya is very helpful, friendly and the breakfast was a very good "French" breakfast (no eggs or waffles, but just about everything else). Avignon is a very pretty city and a great place to stay for a while and do day trips from there. Lots of interesting people speaking various languages pass through Maya's doors. Maya speaks English and French very well. The air conditioner works very well and is very quiet (as is the general neighborhood around the B&B).
Parking is a bit of a challenge, but of course parking is always a challenge inside the ancient walled area of a European city. We were able to find parking each night, but had to drive and search for awhile most nights. There was no tv if that is a concern and the key system for the rooms is a bit dodgy, so I suppose there could be an issue whereby another guest could get into your room without much trouble. The outside door, however is quite secure.
Maya was our hotelier and nothing was too much trouble she spent time showing us the map with area`s of interest and restaurants. Our room was decorated with so much care, a good size with super shower room, lots of power points and quite a few hangers in the wardrobe, breakfast was very goog and again laid out with so much cre and attention to detail, lovely Little terrace where you can sit each evening, perfect
I loved the interior of this B&B, and i had a little cute terrace i could enter from my room. Nice and quite
You can hear your neighbors talking
We had a fantastic time. The hotel is very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The location is great, a short walk from the Papal and everywhere else of interest. Most importantly the owner Mme Maja was very welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. So much better value than being in a hotel.
There was nothing not to like. As another reviewer said the people who find faults with this place must have a daily life that is so good that travelling could never satisfy them.
We only booked the room about 2 hours prior to arriving, and on arrival the owner - Maya, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. She provided suggestions on meal locations and sightseeing, so we could make the most of our one afternoon in Avignon. The residence is a typical 1930's guest house, which provides clean and modernised facilities. We would definitely stay there again.
We found our stay very comfortable, close to some wonderful local restaurants and attractions.
Coffee making facilities in the room would have been great
Our room was large and bright with a modern bathroom. Our hostess was fabulous. Location was perfect.
