Situated close to the TGV high speed train station in the heart of Nîmes, Hôtel Cesar is on Avenue Feuchères which leads directly to Les Arènes de Nîmes (Roman amphitheatre).

Score from 677 reviews Very good
Easy location, were able to store luggage there before check in, our room had a bath
The room was not serviced, not allowed food in the room
We loved the design of the hotel. The room is very big, as well as the bathroom. The design of the room (as well of the hotel as such) is very artistic, and if the hotel had an elevator, it could be called a boutique hotel. We also loved that the hotel was perfectly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is great.
The staff does not speak English at all. No elevator, so be prepared to carry your bags upstairs.
Well located, midway between the train station, and the Arena. Housed in a big old building, 10`ceilings, very quiet, no elevator, I travel light, that didn't bother me. I`m not a very high tech guy, they were one of only three hotels, out of the 12 I stayed in this trip, that had a free computer for guests to use. Nimes is a good town to use as a home base to see other sights in the area. Le Zinc (on de L`Agau) was a really great restaurant to get a reasonably priced, filling meal, also the house wine was very good.
Hotel located in the central part of the city. Several attractions are realy close to the hotel. Friendly staff. Clean floors.
No parking places. Old repaired building. Room for 4 persons looks like a hostel :)
Lowest price ever 100 mt from Arena beatiful room cozy reception and garden quiet during day and night even if very close to railway station
Not Easy the Parking but....something manageable
Location, very friendly staff, comfy
Friendly staff. Good value for money.
nice atmosphere lovely patio very friendly stuff
Lovely and comfortable room decoraion
High Breakfast charges
So easy for enjoying Nimes. 5 mins to the Arena and the best areas for eating, drinking and wandering. Very friendly and helpful staff. However if you like "posh" hotels with large lounge areas this wouldn't be for you; it's a comfortable, convenient base at a decent price as opposed to an experience in itself.
Welcoming, helpful staff. Comfortable bed, and very quiet. Ideal location, a short walk from the station and from the town centre. A little quirky in decor, but very clean and everything worked. Good value for money. Would stay again if visiting Nimes.
There is no lift, so may be difficult for some people.
Nearby the train station and the roman amphitheater in a very quite street. Ratio quality/price is very high for Nimes. The decoration is simple and colorful.
Wifi is not very good in the rooms. On the other hand, no need to ask teens to shut down their tablets at night.
Great spot close to railway and bus station and a 2 minute walk to the old town. Pleasant little courtyard area. Friendly staff. Wifi good in our first floor rooms.
Decor a bit dated in pastels but not a show stopper. Shower at far too low a level
Location- near train station and center of Mediaeval Nimes. The young British woman at the desk was eminently friendly and helpful.
Didn't clean my room because I didn't leave my key. Don't they have a housekeeping key? and the room literature didn't say you have to leave a key to get the room cleaned. Shabby room. Old bathroom furnishings. Faded wallpaper. Very small TV. No cable. Couldn't get the World Cup game.
Lovely little hotel with excellent friendly staff. Breakfast in the delightful courtyard was very good value for money & a lovely experience. Only a 2 min walk from the centre of Nimes & all it's attractions. Would thoroughly recommend.
Quite spacious and comfy. Quiet room and neighbourhood. Great location.
No elevator, but common in France. Bad wi-fi connection from the room.
Location and decor
Breakfast could have been better. Jam tasted stale
The place had charm, nice decor, very helpful staff. Would gladly return there.
Location - in a quiet street, very convenient for the rail and bus stations, and also for the town centre. Friendly, welcoming staff. Value for money
Perfect location, close to city centre and train station. Good, friendly staff.
Strange layout of bathroom, but not a major problem.
We loved the location and friendly staff. The rooms we had ( triples) we really spacious, bright and comfortable. It's not for everyone but we loved the old decor!!
The walls are paper thin!
Quiet hotel in a location within easy walking distance from the train station, underground parking facilities, and the old town with the famous Roman arena.
the bed/mattress could have been firmer and more comfortable.
Location and price

Big room and good bathroom.
Heating was stuck on maximum and coud not be fixed. Had to leave the window open.
