This was our second visit, and we were not disappointed. Perhaps it is better out of season as (unlike some guests commenting here) we had a lovely stay and a fabulous meal, which is exactly how we remembered our visit three years ago. |

We like everything. especially the helpful staff. We had a great room which made us know we wqere in a manor house from the exposed beams . Bed and pillows were so comfortable. Nice bathroom too.The restaurant was super and thewaiter was charming. This was the best breakfast buffet of our trip. The sxwimming facilities were great and we took advantage of it. The staff did everything they could to make us feel at home even though they were very busy with business clients having a breakfast meeting there. The location for the hotel was lovely and easy to find, outside the city yet easy to go into Poitiers for sightseeing from there( we had a car). |

About the only thing that this hotel has going for it is the loverly location and if you like golf then the golf course I thought that the prices charged for room, drinks and food were well over the top for a 3 star hotel, having just come from a 4 star Parradore in Spain where the prices were about half of those charged here |

A lovely hotel, excellent setting v friendly staff, lovely pool, games room. We ate dinner, which was average and a little overpriced; the hotel was full, and there were two sittings for dinner, which gave the hotel the air of a slight tourist trap. The setting was beautiful, we would have been happy to sit there longer and not feel as rushed! As above, vis a vis food, plus the receptionist was v keen for us to have breakfast, at 11 euros each, which we then cancelled after our not-so-nice dinner! She seemed rather put out. |

the setting, swimming pool and the grounds were nice. service and food in the restaurant, the standard of the room (on the web-site the photo shows a room on 2 levels, while in reality it is not). the rooms are shabby and dark, not particularly clean. on the 2nd day the cleaning lady came to tidy up the room after 18.00, which is not acceptable. |

Quiet Location, relaxing and calm atmosphere. Very friendly staff. I recommend this hotel. The elevator is very small but it's not so important. Watch your head during the shower. |

The clerk who registered me upon arrival was very rude and unpolite.I was attributed a room and could not open the door...Hotel in bad condition. Not sufficient staff to coop with the demand at that moment. Luckely the evening clerk was much more friendly and helpfull. I will not return to the hotel when in that area again. Pool is ok. |

Pool facilities and parking were good. Also Hotel easy to find and quiet off the main road. Stayed in the archery room but was just a simple room which can sleep up to 4 people. They state they have a minibar but it is only a few cans in the fridge and even these were not complete with the beer missing and a waterbottle half empty. I expected a decent hotel but it felt very much like a motel. |

Friendly, helpfull staff. Evening meal was fantastic. A beautiful location / setting. no spa / treatment facilities. The double bed in the Achery is basic, not suitable for a long stay, but okay for our needs, of a single night. |

Very friendly hotel staff, good reception, nice diner, a hotel with character where you can relax. The room smelled a bit humid, and some of us woke up with little insect bites. |

A lovely setting on the golf course and convenient for Poitiers. Good, comfortable room and a nice dining room. Service at dinner was very slow (people coming in after us were served first), and the breakfast arrangements were quite chaotic with nobody seeming to be in charge. |

We found this gem on th internet and it was a wonderful stay for our first night in France for 2 week holiday. The setting and surrounding area was amazing. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were superb. We would love to return again sometime. It would have been good to have more toiletries in the room. This would have given a an added touch of luxury. |
