Wasn't allowed to park in the parking lot for a seemingly unnecessary reason, other than it was the rule (giving the authentic French experience that exceptions and flexibility are tortuously granted). Directed to park on the road, not far away.
The stone walls and solid construction made the WiFi strong only in the dining room/lounge, though there are only three rooms (awesome rooms) in the building and the solution is less than 50 euros (use the building wiring to carry the signal upstairs).
I should have mentioned two of us were vegan during the reservation process as they were not ready for that curve-ball, but Fabienne made a huge effort to accommodate. A single non-perishable UHT soy milk carton on the shelf would have avoided this comment. Breakfast was perfect other than we couldn't have our morning soy latte.
Fabienne greeted us in the most extraordinary way. Dinner, breakfast made to order. Everything was best quality. The room, the food, the wine made by the owners, Fabienne's cooking, homemade jams, description of her cooking using her face and hands, the ambiance...fantastic. The perfection of the experience is proven by my negative comments.
