Everything. From arrival until departure we loved everything. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and on ground floor as we had requested. The restaurant was spacious, light and airy and the food and staff superb.

Stayed there a few years ago was really looking forward to staying again. Oh dear, now an awful downgraded hotel catering for the coach party travelodge type of traveller. Ok if this is what you expect. But it was a luxury hotel with fine dining and an air of discreet luxury, not cheap but very good and an awfully nice place to stay. Now it is just awful. Tred rooms which we would not accept and insisted that this was not as described on your website. Not to be reccomended to stay in unless you want an overnight cheap stay. See above its awful, but I must say that the evening dinner was acceptabe for the price paid but certainly no wow factor how the hotel used to be

The hotel is in a quiet attractive location. Dinner on the terrace at the end of a hot (39C) day was particularly enjoyable, as was the food and selectionof wines. The only down side was that there was no air conditioning in the bedroom which would have been welcome at the end of a particularly hot day.

Le cadre. Deux petits lits jumeaux dans une chambre minuscule. Equipement vieillot et bas de gamme. La description n'était donc pas conforme. Restaurant complet, ce qui nous a amenés à repartir à Bergerac pour dîner (nous avons donc peu bénéficié du cadre).

When we arrived at 6 pm, the hotel staff told us that the restaurant was fully booked that evening and proposed us to have supper in Bergerac, which is the nearest possibility to dine, but which is about 12 km from the hotel. They even proposed a place and made the reservation. On our remark that the restaurant has thus less capacity in the restaurant than in the hotel was agreed. In addition was said that for "late bookers" often no place in the restaunt was available. (We booked the evening before!) If the hotel would have been in a city, the problem would have been less. But to be obliged to return to the town at 12 km from which we just came is frustrating. So be aware if you are a backpacker or a cyclist!

Trés beau manoire plein de charme avec trés joli environement boisé, jardin et lac. Piscine sympa mais pas chauffée. Terrain de tennis "distroyed". Restaurant de bonne qualité avec des menus à 24€ trés corrects. Petit déjeuners acceptable sans être mémorables. Employés de bonne volonté mais sans plus. Club hippique juste à coté de trés bon niveau. Possibilité de location de vélo (mais ca monte) Chambres trés insuffisantes, pas en rapport avec le reste de l'hotel, déco et meubles sortant d'une brocante locale je pense... Hotel trés excentré au milieu de nul part sans être trés loin de Bergerac (15km) mais vraiment rien autour (pas de commerces, ni de restau, village désert). Idéal pour le calme et les amoureux de la nature. Trés fréquenté par touristes Allemand et Hollandais en famille.

The grounds and the setting were very pleasing as was the accent on horse riding etc. Good for walking and exploring and for our dog.The rooms were large and comfortable and reasonably appointed. Plenty of hot water and full-sized bath. Old-world charm of the public rooms even out of season made for elegent dining. The web-site was misleading. It said that the address was "Main Street" when of course the estate is nowhere near a main street!! Also the website stated that the swimming pool was heated, so we took our swimming costumes with us only to finf the pool outside and empty!
