Le Manoir De Beaulieu  

The hotel was very easy to find, nicely designed and decorated in a country style.

The management were quite offhand and when a complaint was made about about a dinner dance still going on in the hotel at 2:30 am I was told that it would finish when they wanted to finish and this could be 4 or even 5am and they saw nothing wrong with this. The hotel was full with wedding guests who had booked for three, four and five days and none of them could sleep for the music and people standing outside talking and shouting. They should not have accepted a party booking when they knew months before that the hotel would be full with other guests. Perhaps they were annoyed the wedding hadn't taken place in their hotel?

Beautiful location and smart well furnished hotel. Easy access to the Auvergne and to a host of local sights and Chateaux. Rooms were well deocorated and whilst a touch compact were adequate. Dining room was downstairs and was less impressive.

Service was poor. No one about to serve drinks on the terrace or in the lounge. Food was fair quality but a cause of complaint. Main courses of fish and beef were quite different. The Pike was well cooked and generous, the beef however was barely 4 ounces, and left a lot to be desired. The cheese board was very good, with a wide selection of Auvergne cheeses. Overall the hotel lacked some sparkle. It was a pretty and comfortable base but not a place to spend lots of time.

The location in the village was excellent.

Very overpriced for what was described as a deluxe room. It turned out to be a very basic room with poor quality fittings. The hotel was extremely tired and needed a great deal of attention. We had a "special deal" with 1/3 off the normal price and still it was the most expensive and most run down accommodation in which we stayed throughout our holiday - very disappointing.

It was in a very good location for exploring the countryside and towns in the Dordogne/Correze area.

The staff in the Restaurant did not seem to be very well organised, the service was agonizingly slow on the first evening. The quality of the, food cooking and presentation varied.

A hotel with an excellent atmosphere created by a friendly and attentive staff. The quality of food and service were a pleasure throughout our stay.

Chambre très confortable, personnels très gentils et très serviables. Déco sympa, resto super.

Excellent rapport qualité prix, très bon service, diner de qualité et très copieux.

Sa situation géographique, dans la vallée de la Dordogne et à proximité de nombreux sites touristiques.

Hôtel vieillot qui mériterait une cure de rajeunissement. Le nom de "manoir" est trompeur : l'hôtel est situé en plein centre ville sans aucun espace vert autour. Le restaurant est décevant : plats et vins sur la carte, mais non disponibles ; le même "menu découverte" a été proposé 2 soirs de suite à des amis avec qui nous étions et qui avaient un coffret cadeau.

restaurant de qualité, bonne situation géographique, accueil satisfaisant. la décoration du hall de l'hotel et du coin bar est très agréable.

les deux lits jumeaux rapprochés pour faire un seul. Pas de fixation du sommier ce qui donne un résultat désagréable avec un 'trou' entre les 2 personnes. par ailleurs,la couverture/couette est insuffisante par grand froid (ce qui était le cas).

Très bon hôtel, accueil très aimable. Chambres esthétiques et confortables. Grand parking disposant de nombreuses places, du moins en cette saison, juste devant l'hôtel

Un problème paradoxal : nous avons du attendre pour pouvoir partir après avoir payé puisqu'il n'y avait personne à la réception. Il était pourtant déjà 8 h 30.

Hotel au plein coeur du village,calme avec salle de bain rénovée.Parking sur la place devant l'hotel.Bon petit déjeuner sucré, salé Décoration adéquate avec le lieu.Bon accueil de la part des propriétaires .Bon rapport qualité-prix par booking en ventes flash

Chambre et salle de bain non chauffée à notre arrivée et dans la nuit le chauffage ne fonctionne pas donc nos serviettes n'étaient pas séches pour la toilette du matin malgré un séche-serviette....dommage pour l'établissement

Mobilier de la chambre desuet , propreté de la douche douteuse , les joints de carrelage ne sont pas nettoyé coco dans les couloirs des chambres usés et troués
