The location, staff, and price of the Mansart were all terrific. I would definitely come back. We had two twin beds pushed together, rather than a Queen size bed.

The rooms are elegantly decorated. The one we were in had a very high ceiling and two sets of french doors opening up on Place Vendome. The breakfast room is charming and the breakfast very generous - the cheeses on the cheeseboard were alone worth the 15 Euro. The concierge Patricia was friendly, knowledgable and welcoming - the best we have ever encountered. One had the sense of being welcomed into her home. At 280 Euro a night for the Mansart room, it is the best value of any hotel we have stayed in in Paris. But there are other, less expensive rooms that are also beautiful.

Patricia was helpful. I arrived quite early it wasn't the time to check- in yet. She let me into my room soonest possible, I was able to rest after a long haul trip. The single room was tiny.

Location and access to metro. Room size. Provision of tea and coffee in room. Good size bathroom- nice soaps etc. Friendly staff. Accomodated my request to be away from the elevator. Uneven creaky floorboards. Older carpet. Soft pillows. No top sheet, just a duvet. These are very minor

The localisation is excellent! The staff was well-behaving and cooperative even after the check-out! We found the room quite small, compared to what has been described in their photos!

I liked the location of the hotel. Room sizes are excellent and offers good value for money. All rooms need to be renovated . Foyer needs a coat of paint .

Great location. Staff was unable to assist in problems with converter for curling iron. I have never had a problem with it on previous trips. It was almost impossible to have the bedside lightbulb replaced when it burned out. Limited effort in assisting in reconfirmation of reservations. Also, I was unable to decrease the stay by one day as we desired so we stayed 7 nights rather than 6 nights. They were inflexible in regards to this change.

The staff were very helpful. On the booking site it says " tea and coffee making facilities in room". These weren't there, but when I asked they produced it very quickly. Lovely sized bathroom. Furniture is old, yes, but that was part of the reason for choosing the hotel ... makes the rooms not so sterile! Bathroom was modern though :) Just one thing - isn't a problem really as Mansart is in the heart of Paris. The site says the hotel has a bar ... it doesn't! So if you're looking for a hotel with a bar ... Mansart is not really appropriate. But as I said, in the heart of Paris that's not really negative. They just shouldn't put it on the booking.com site!

I very much liked the position and the bedroom. The reception staff were helpful in phoning specific restaurants for us and telling us where places were. As the reception area is being re-furbished it did not look as good as it no doubt it will do but we were not disturbed by any noise

Quiet, comfortable hotel in excellent location with a very good, simple breakfast. Having stayed there several times before, I regret the new "modern" decor of the breakfast room.

The location is great and the price is reasonable. Pushpa and Patricia are terrific! The breakfast room has been updated nicely! The tv on top of the mini bar outside of the bathroom was a poor location. No shower door or curtain??? No dresser or drawers to put clothes into.

Good Location. Comfortable bed. Room overlooked a courtyard littered with cigarette butts and other trash. Other window opened on trash filled air vent. Interior was small with no drawers or shelves to unpack requiring living out of suitcase for six days. No regular shower provided (handheld spray in bathtub). Location was an issue since opposite building was very close making a choice between privacy and natural light. Hotel shows beautiful pictures of "antique" furnishings but room furniture appeared to be poor quality and barely held together. Staff would attempt to be helpful but had difficulties delivering on what was promised. Internet slow and intermittent Never again for over $225/night.

The location is perfect. You can walk everywhere. The hotel is old and not very luxurious but the location and the low price makes up fosr any faults. I would definitely return. Front desk staff were very nice and helpful. A true find.....

“The Brighton was centrally located, between the Louvre and the Champs d'Elysses. Nearby a subway station and bus stops. We could walk to many sights. Our room was spacious and well-decorated. The staff fulfilled every request, and some were a bit different. This one on the the best European hotels I have visited.” Norris, Towana |
