An elegant hotel, perfectly situated close to landmarks, shops, cafes - within walking distance. Our room was bright, spacious with antique furniture. One can breakfast in the hotel - we preferred to explore the many nearby cafes. A great place to stay in central Paris! Staff most helpful and courteous.

The hotel was really very nice in the center of Paris. It's the same like you see on photos. We expected bigger room but in comparison to other hotels the room and bathroom were big. We liked it and next would prefer to stay there again. Yes furniture is fine and beds were comfortable :) I would recommend this hotel to my friends!

We were very pleased with the level of service and the good attitude right from the first moment we stepped in the hotel until the check out. It is also an elegant hotel and very central if you fancy St. Honore and Opera area.

location and staff were excellent

i found mansart to be way overpriced. perhaps i was paying for the location. the hotel is extremely old, but not in a good antique way. the floors were creaky and the bath/shower was very uncomfortable.

I love the Mansart room 203. Stayed there twice already. Location is perfect, staff is very kind and helpful. Next time I'm in Paris I will stay there again!

Being allergic to cigaret smoke I didn't like the smell of cigarette in the corridor from the room next to mine.

Poor bathroom

We liked it a lot. We want to stay there often as it is close to our daughter's home. We would like information of less expensive rooms.

The Cable tv in the living/bedroom did not work. I sat in the bathtub often to watch CNN.

Excellent service and comfort. The buffet breakfast was good with prompt and efficient service. The bedrooms were large, quiet and confortable. The price was a little higher than our normal budget but considering the position of the hotel it remained just in the bounds of acceptability. Would recommend this hotel to others.

Our room was fabulous - very nice size. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Wonderful balcony to view the rooftops at night!! Excellent staff. Warmly greeted every time we came into the lobby. We were asked if there was anything they could do for us. Could not have been better service.

Location could not have been perfect for both tourist and business travel. Read many reviews of the hotel and balanced that with my own experience with Paris, its hotels and this neighborhood in particular. First, Paris is an old city. To try and compare the homogenity of a big box hotel found in most american cities with hotels in Paris is folly and a road to disappointment as well as inability to enjoy Paris for its charm. This hotel has rooms with older furniture, its true. I stayed twice this month -- in a superior room which had older furniture but was huge by any standard and perfect for a family with small children. I much preferred the Vendome room, newly renovated and perfect for a single traveler or couple. It was just lovely and I would stay there again. In both cases, the bed was well appointed and extremely cozy and comfy. The hotel is very clean and its staff, the best part. Helpful and very warm. I would not hesitate to stay again.

We booked a 'superior' room as we know from previous experience and friends that Paris hotel rooms can be tiny. Our room was spacious by any standard and bigger than we had hoped for. The antique decor was lovely and extra comforts like a bar fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and a roomy well-appointed bathroom made our week's stay most comfortable and enjoyable. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and polite adn the reception staff were most helpful. Metro train stations and a big choice of restaurants/ bistros were within easy walking distance. We would happily recommend The Mansart to discerning friends.

We had a room-service dinner one night, which the hotel clearly states on the menu is out-sourced. The food was superb and was delivered promptly but was served in takeaway plastic containers wnich was a bit off-putting.

The location is excellent and staff is friendly.

Their security is questionable. On August 31 (Day 1), at around 8:30pm, I was sitting on a couch in the lobby of the hotel, with my cell phone on my lap. Then many poor children came into the lobby to ask me for money. When they were gone, I found that my cell phone was stolen. Of course, if I had my cell phone on my lap outside of the hotel, I would be the one to be blamed. But, this was inside the hotel... This cannot be a kind of security we get for a 4-star hotel for which we pay 200 euros per night. For this reason, I would not recommend this hotel to my friends. Another terrifying experience is that someone tried to open the door to our room without knocking. Thank God we locked our door (did not just rely on the automatic lock); otherwise this trip would have been a nightmare.

Location, clean room... Enjoyed the continental breakfast in a nice dinning area on the first floor. Staff went of their way to "help me" charge my ipad, since I forgot my electrical travel adaptor. Room had nice A/C and bed sheets. What's not to like about this place !

Just being picky here... bath/shower had some missing tile grout.... Please don't be discourage from my comment on staying here....!! This would be my go to place if I travelled more to Paris!

The hotel has 4*, but it really look like 3*: interior, stuff, food, cleanliness. The location is not bad, but there are a lot of hotels, wich have better. Too much money for this hotel.

Great location , esp. For shopping at Rue Saint Honore. Nice place at reasonable price. We had upgraded room, which was huge for Paris standards.

Room service came by twice opening room without waiting a minute and asking if we ordered food, which we didnt, which pissed me of.

Lovely rooms and good sized as well. Good location. All of the staff were very nice, and generally helpful.

Perfect location. Excellent staff and very helpful. Rooms were amazing. Very large even by american standards and close to everything.

The shower was out of service in our suite. But the hotel made up for it with a very nice bottle of champagne. (We still had the large tub with hand held shower so really wasnt too bad)

This was our second stay at Mansart. It is ideally located for walking to many attractions, as well as being close to several Metro Stations. The staff is most cordial, the rooms comfortable and airy, and breakfast is a special delight in a very attractive setting. My compliments on their remodel. We enthusiastically recommend it.

Lovely small hotel, with nice antique furnitured spacy rooms, with a perfect location.

Great location, wonderful staff- very helpful and extremely professional! We will return to Mansart on our next Paris visit. Our room (Mansart Room) was very large and very comfortable, decorated with period antiques and nicely decorated.
