Staying at the Marmotte was an excellent choice for us coming from Australia-clean and comfortable. Warmth,Friendly and helpful. Meals were of a very high standard and beautifully presented-highly recommendfor for special dinner occasions. Location in an industrial area.Hard to find and a disappointing approach to such a nice hotel. |

Positive response to enquiries. The room was a little small for 3 people but there was plenty of space outside. |

Staff friendly, rooms and hotel clean. Represented very good value for money. Windows well sound proofed from near by traffic. It is situated near a main road and business area. |

Excellent good value meals. In particular the sweet buffet. Difficult to find in an industrial estate. |

The hotel was clean, friendly and welcoming. Nothing was to much trouble for the staff, despite my very poor grasp of French, and the evening meal was very good- and good value. We booked Hôtel Marmotte because we were on our way to the south of France and the location was convenient and we wished to enjoy the journey and stopovers. |

value for money, not far from city centre, reasonable rooms difficult to get to hotel, needs better sign posting, car park not fenced or locked overnight |

Not much. The room was clean. Unwelcoming. Unpleasant location; an industrial estate. No help with luggage. Poor advice regarding Chartres. Staff were OK but were uninformed and did not seem to cater for foreign visitors |

Found this Hotel difficult to find. Coach party in overnight breakfast was a nightmare, almost everything gone when we went down. Not enough staff when Hotel full. But everything else OK. Nothing above reflects this Hotel, mainly hotel for business people. |

We had a nice welcome, a very nice evening meal, and the breakfast was typically French and plenty of it. I left a bag behind which was forwarded on to me the next day which I much appreciated. For that reason alone I would recommend this hotel The towels were past their best and thin but clean. There were no hot drink facilities which I like. But really there was nothing to dislike |

This is a no frills hotel but a clean and professional one. It has a nice reasonably priced restaurant. Not close enough to the downtown shopping or other restaurants that you could get to them without driving. |

1. Close to highway and easy overnight after driving 2. Reasonable price and available triple room 3. It is possible to combine the rest in the hotel with visit to tourist places in Chartres |

Hotel Marmotte is a budget hotel, but a very pleasant one. The room was tiny but for a quick overnight stay, it is all you need. We used their restraurant for breakfast. We chose to walk out to the nearby Courtepaille restaurant for dinner. No coffee accessible without going into the restaurant. A late-night /early-morning coffee machine would be appreciated |

Very quiet, free wifi, great (helpful) staff, okay resources (big bed, heater in room, full length mirror, TV). Good for an overnight stay if you're a backpacker looking to get away from hustle and bustle. Food at the restaurant was mediocre. It's not very close to the centre, so if you're on your own, you're going to have to figure out how to navigate the bus system and if you want to stay out past 9:45 you'll have to pay for a taxi (close to 15 euro). Not exactly too "homey". |

La qualité de l'accueil. Le confort (lit de 160) et la propreté des chambres. Le grand téléviseur lcd. Manque de clim un jour de grande chaleur. 1 seul savon pour 2 et pas de shampooing douche. |
