Hotel Louvre Marsollier Opera is a wonderful hidden gem in Paris! The location is excellent- 2 blocks from the Pyramids Metro Station, approximately 5 minutes walk to the Galleries Lafayette, 5 to 7 minutes walk to the Lourve, and 15 minutes walk to the Notre Dame Cathedral. The rooms are charming -I stayed in room #604 and adored the exposed wood beams. The hotel and my room were exceptionally clean. There is free WIFI provided throughout the hotel and hotel staff is generally very helpful in providing suggestions and directions to sights. I spent the first two nights of our four night stay in the hotel by myself and I felt completely safe. For the price and proximity to major attractions in Paris, Hotel Louvre Marsollier Opera can’t be beat.

Staff didn't really care to even be friendly. Reason why the place is more expensive is only because Oscar Wilde stayed there in Paris beyond just a high price for the location.

The room is clean and confortable and the location was perfect for the purpose of my trip. The room and the bathroom are small, but that was not a major problem for me. Breakfast was 12 euro and it could be better, fresh fruit would be nice.

It was at a good location. Right in the centre. Close to the Opera and the Louvre museum and lot of dining options around. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The standard double room is too small and had a space for the furniture very close together

It is a small three star hotel but extremely clean and comfortable. Receptionists Nicolas and Alexandre are friendly and fluent in English. This is the most preferred hotel to me because I can access most places I want to visit by walking. It is only 5 mins walk to the Lourve, 10 mins to Vendome and 30 mins to Champs-Elysees. Also convenient to shopping at Lafayette and Printemps. The hotel is located on a quiet street and nearby by are offices and restaurant, sometimes I was woken up by the noise in the street around 7 or 8am.

The staff were warm, friendly and very well trained. An excellent service all round. The hotel was far better than we expected and added to the enjoyment of our long weekend in Paris. The location of the hotel was perfect and allowed us to see all of the major attractions (most withing walking distance) and find many great places to eat.

This hotel is fantastic. Brilliant location, about a 5-10 min walk from the Louvre. Not based on the main road so still quiet enough for a brilliant nights sleep. Very clean room, the bed was so comfortable. Will definately stay here again when we return to this amazing city. Oliver on reception was very polite and welcoming. Fantastic stay all round!

The location is very good and many good restaurants in the streets around the hotel. You can walk to many of the most popular sites in Paris and the Opera is just around the corner although the hotel is in a quiet street. Even though the hotel is in an old building it is very clean and cosy. The double rooms are unusually small, hardly a space for a suitcase, and give almost a claustrophobic feeling. We were able to cange to a larger room (most likely designed for three persons) and paid extra for that.

Location very good. Room small but clean with nice quality fixtures. Desk clerk was a bit snooty. Elevator can barely carry two people as long as there is no luggage. Staircase is spiral, so shlepping luggage to upstairs rooms is a chore. Location close to several metro stops and about 1/4 mile from the national opera.
