The place

My room was not with the bed I required ( a king size bed) I was given two side by side single beds. I complained they didn't do anything for 4 hours until I got the duty manager to get a new bed in. Not great service for this level. Prices for anything at the bar were horrendous € 25 euros for a drink is a rip off no matter where. 40 euros for breakfast... (We didn't take it) . we stayed tow days before at the gran hotel de la mediterranee in Nice same group prices were steep but acceptable 15 euros for a drink is normal in Nice. Wouldn't go back to the martinez

Almost everything about the hotel is faultless. Usually, a great pleasure to stay there.

being given a room on the back and woken by a passing express train and the air conditioning plant. not what I expected.

Location Warm outside swiming pool

Very old furniture ( urgent renew needed ), absolutelly out of a 5 stars standard. The quotation was quite cheap but the room level much lower. I suggest that before booking custemers better asking for renoveted rooms...

room AC was horrible ; noise between rooms, too much for a 5-star ; hotel bar, which had so-so barmen (they didn't know much about cocktails...)

The hotel was spacious, although it was the low season, and had a latter day feellng of opulence matching the whole Canne experience. The room was very comfortable.

Kamer was prima, Prijs van de kamer was ok.

Parking was too expensive (Euro 39_for one night), as well as the breakfast (about euro 80 for 2 people for a relatively simple breakfast was over priced. Euro 50 would have been better. Also the Palm dór is really overpriced.

The price! You can't find fault with that sort of hotel and pay 153 euros per night. We ended up staying 2. (It was out of season).

It was short stay; the facilities,and location are very good

I left my -rented- car for parking with the belboy. The morning after I found my car just outside the entryddor-in the street. I had payed 39 Euro for that; plus i found out-too late- the car was damaged.

First class hotel. Although a bit expensive, we enjoyed being there!

Some of the prices they charge are exhorbitant: beach chairs 48 eur, parking 42 eur, coffe and croissant 22 eur. Give me a break.....

Position, food, staff friendliness and willingness to assist, excellent beds, easy wifi access

The hotel is in an amazing location. The hotel acceptable, but, I think they have rejuvenate the room design and the tools.

The check in was delayed until 5:00 pm which is absurd, also we were charged extra 265 Euros that once investigated we were told by mistake and were removed

My Wife & I had been to Cannes before but had not really enjoyed ourselves. This time around we stayed at the Martinez, & they made our trip extremely enjoyable. The concierges are the best we have seen in the world. The service throughout the hotel is as good as the service one experiences in the far east.

Our only complaint is the exorbitant & outrageous prices that the Spa charges. They are quoting prices up to 800 Euros for some treatments. We were able to get the same treatment in a Spa in the town for 200 Euros. Overall, we will always stay at the Martinez but never use the Spa there again.

I was at the hotel at my birthday, and the hotel didn't even wish me a happy birthday

Wonderfully surprising luxury hotel directly on the Cannes waterfront. Very friendly and attentive staff, which is something we don't usually expect. Offered upgrades to rooms with great views. Room service always happy to provide even when no charge. We were also surprised to know there is nail spa available daily free of charge, which is a nice touch.
