Good value for the dollar, clean, quiet, safe, staff friendly and helpful, easy access to metro, and shops. Only one electrical plug in room, a bit spartan, no pictures on walls, but good value. Would recommend.

The location is excellent, very close to the subway. They tried to charge me an extra night, I had to get back and show them they did a mistake. The bed was the most uncomfortable bed ever, the pillows where some sort of invention, the shower curtain was filthy disgusting, no shampoo whatsoever. They never changed my towels and I doubt they ever cleaned the room.

I hated it 1) Dirty room floor 2) Dirty bed cover (comforter) that clearly has not been washed in ages 3) Lack of pillows (Oh! But they provided a dirty uncovered mini roll that you could use as a pillow) Didn't know I need to carry my own pillow on vacation! 4) Dirty mattress that was continuously exposed beneath the unchanged undersized sheets 5) Dirty shower curtain that was moldy (just gross!) 6) Tiny tiny tiny room

The breakfast, very good. The hotel has small rooms and the price is not a reasonable price. Could be better.

It's near the Marais, so perfect for shopping. My room wasn't really clean when I came in the first time. The bathroom is a nightmare because of the construction.

Located in a side street, but yards from Oberkampf Metro station and easy to drive to from the East of Paris, this was a pleasant, quiet hotel, with no issues. There are plenty of decent-looking cafes, bars and restaurants nearby, on street parking was easy, and a four-bedded room was basic but fine. Not particularly cheap but Paris is pricey and there are no reasons to not stay here, it's a safe area at night and it's away from a noisy road or disturbance. Breakfast was 6 Euros, but we didn't try it. As Paris budget hotels go this is better than most. No tea or coffee making facilities. No hairdryer. No airconditioning. Free wifi was difficult to connect to. All minor gripes though, happy to go back here.

Staff are great! Location is amazing, great area, decent walk away from bastille and right next to subway. Price is guaranteed. Stayed twice and the first time they seemed to be a little confused with payments because there are often many people working at the desk throughout the day. Keep your receipt and just explain your situation.

Nice hotel, very comfortable bed. Sometimes it was noisy, and you can't have guests in your room even in the daytime.

Good localization, near metro station. The hotel has a policy that you must pay at check-in, and I did so, but at the check-out I was asked to pay again!! I had to show them the receit of payment they gave me! Unbelievable!! I don't recommend this hotel to anyone! At Paris there's a lot of hotels near metro station as well.

Wooden floor much more hygenic compare to carpet. Clean bathroom. Good view to the street. Very near to metro. Quite area, with lift. Young lady staff name Sacma was very helpful with many things. Safe and control entrance, No coffee making facility or kettle boiler, coffee dispenser at lobby not working well which at times only half filled cups,

Location, price, wifi. The wifi was working but not very stable - maybe good enough to check a few websites, but not good enough for someone who would need to work online.

Marys Hotel does what i says on the tin, the staff were friendly and helpfull especially with direction etc. Its in a safe area , the towels and bed linen were changed daily, its really close to metro (when you get the hang of the metro). I went with my 10yr old daughter, it was in safe area with bakeries, shops, coffee shops etc just around the corner. We went on the 5th of February and it was minus 10 degress outside but the hotel was lovely and warm the heating didn't get turned off and the room was really cosy. It was good value for the money. Marys hotel is not hugh but like i say it does what it says on the tin only thing maybe is the room was a little small but that is only minus issue

Hotel staff was very kind and helpfull. Hotel is very good located, at meters of Metro Oberkampf. Nice time in Paris thanks to every people involved with tourism. Gracias desde Argentina. Recomendable 100 %. Perhaps the triple room was too small, even we used it only for sleeping.

The staff was very helpful and polite. They don't have tea and coffee facilities in the room. The telephone in the room wasn't working. Pillows aren't comfortable. But still worth the price.

Exellent location, just a few steps from metro. The room is small but clean, smelly at the beginning like in a car. The staff seemed to be friendly, but when I asked for another username and password for the wifi connection a staff didnt help, although it didnt matter them at all The wifi connection was very terrible, the only way to use it is going downstairs to the lobby THe room was quite noisy, the wall is thin so easy to listen to what happening the next room

The hotel is very easy to reach from the Metro (walking from Republique is just as quick as changing line) so is conveniently positioned with bars and foodstores nearby. The reception staff were extremelyy pleasant and their English is much better than my attempted French. The room I had was clean, fresh and warm and although quite small was adequate for a solo occupancy. The small table and chair was useful. They were happy to store my bag for the whole day when I was leaving. There is wi-fi but unstable and unusable in the room but a little better in reception. (Eat in Cafe Nambodai across the road and they will give you free access to their wi-fi. Sadly the signal is not strong enough to access from the hotel!) There is no soap but there is a liquid soap dispenser. It's sort of ok but not really what I expect to find in a hotel. The breakfast is ok but nasty cheap machine coffee isn't best. A printed ( in English and clearly visible) sign 'inviting' patrons to return the finished breakfast tray to the bar would help avoid any potential misunderstandings. (Fortunately someone translated the grumpy remarks so I was able to quickly rectify the incident) From experience and others remarks I think advertising wi-fi in the room is a bit wide of the reality.

“Excellent combination of friendly staff and location. The staff members are all very helpful. They make you feel you are a guest in a family home. The location is superior. Easy access by Metro from anywhere in the City. A short walk to three major squares: Republique, Nation and Bastille. I will definitely stay there in my next visit, and will recommend it to all my friends.” Mahmoud, Wichita, Kansas |
