Beautiful hotel nestled in a stunning vista. Luxurious rooms, delicious food and excellent service. This is our second time there and we hope to come back!

    Wiew, pool, surroundings

Unprofesional staff with a sneaky attitude, too expensive for this level of service

Location and beauty of the facility.

Having to pass the kitchen to get to our room and constant requirement to log into the wifi every time you turned you device off.

Just a beautiful setting and very peaceful

Good breakfast. No pool service. No water by the pool. Lunch and dinner very expensive. 5 star price but not 5 star service. If it was half the price you would be more forgiving. Slow kitchen and staff.

    Friendly staff

Too many things! Not at all good value as vastly overpriced for old fashioned and faded facilities. Food only adequate and restaurant service left much to be desired. Needs a complete makeover and better trained staff.

    Rooms, gardens, pool area

Maitre d' did not offer us anything other than their chef's menu. Our two teenage children valiantly fought their way through a very fancy and very expensive meal. We subsequently saw other families offered more family friendly food. Service was also not very attentive.

Our one complaint is that the refrigerator in our room did not work and was not fixed after two mentions to staff.

I booked a superior room DP we had views of the valley from the balcony. The hotel is relatively small ; less than 20 rooms so you definitely will not feel overcrowded and its a good location to get away. Joucas is 10mins drive from Rousillon and Gordes, so other than the first night when we had dinner at the hotels, all other meals you can go to these 2 other towns for more affordable but definitely also good food.

Breakfast was mediocre compared to the €23 price tag. I would have to say it probably belongs to the €11 group. So definitely could have more choices instead of repeating the same normal foods, given this is a Michelin restaurant I expected more. Even though its a R&C hotel, it's still pricey given the facilities, there is only a pool and a tennis court. And meals in the hotel is the same but good food and wines. I still feel they are slightly over-priced for a 1-star Michelin.
