We took our two grandchildren aged 9 for a short trip to France via Brittany Ferries. The hotel was close to the port and opposite the beach. Weather disappointing but, if sunny, it would have been perfect. Breakfast was excellent value, both quality and choice and staff were friendly and courteous. They spoke warmly to the children and encouraged them to speak french. Excellent restaurant nearby serving good local food and alco child friendly - recommended by hotel. Worth paying extra for garage parking if travelling by car. Only problem was that our family room had little storage for clothes and several more drawers would have helped (we had to use car for some clothes storage). Not many facilities but this was not a problem to us. Lack of clothes storage space - basically one desk with 2 drawers and an open clothes hanging wardrobe.

The hotel staff extremelly friendly and helpful in helping us find an outstanding restaurant in St Malo Some effort should be done regarding the sound insulation as we could hear the neighbor's baby crying (as if he or she was in our room).... We guess they could also hear ours ;)

Great staff, good budget accomodation. Walking distance to the walled city. The family room was very small, however the price was cheap.

Nice clean modern room which was very quiet. The sea facing rooms were on the road and probably noisier. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. We required a wheelchair access room and it was a reasonable size for moving around. The wetroom was well equipped with room to manouvre, but the washbasin was too high (see below). Breakfast was very good. The washbasin was extraordinarily high ( much higher than a normal bathroom). This made it impossible for a wheelchair bound person to reach the taps unless they had amazingly long arms!

Ideal location for access to the beach, and easy walk to the walled city and a great selection of restaurants. Short taxi ride from Dinard airport. due to our late booking we were unable to get sea-view rooms.

Good location only 10 mins walk to the centre of St. Malo. Stayed in a family room with two teenage children. They had their own bedroom in the upper level of the room. Good beds. Everythin fine. Breakfast was 9 euro but we opted to go across the road to the local bakery and all four of us ate for less than 10 euro. Good for a few days stay. Room can get warm with no air-con no tea/coffe facilities

Excellent location right on the beach and a short walk along the front to the walled city of St Malo. Rooms were clean, smart and comfortable. Lovely showers. The family rooms were great as the mezzanine level twin bedded area really gave the feel that the children had their own bedroom. Staff were excellent, friendly and very good with the younger guests. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been welcomed for a hot drink last thing at night once the children were tucked up in bed.

As an overnight stop prior to catching a ferry this hotel was very good, The closeness to the beach was perfect for winding down after a long drive through France. Parking was helpful and gave peace of mind overnight. This part of St Malo is also a lot less like a tourist spot than staying intra muros.

I was very impressed with the staff. I asked them to recomend to me a restaurant in the Old Walled City, which was not a rip off touristy restaurant. They discussed the question amongst themselves, then gave me three options, with a map showing me where to find the restaurants. The Italian restaurant they sugested was a real gem. Having spent two weeks camping in a tent, a night in a hotel room with a comfortable bed, a real shower and lovely loo was great treat!!

The overall experience was good. Good two bed close to each other even though we explicitly asked for a king sized bed in the reservation. The room was good but it lacked some space around the bed (on 2 of the 3 sides).

The quadruple room with a sea view was split-level with a steep staircase to twin beds upstairs. Both upstairs and downstairs had excellent sea views. Underground parking good (at a price) and hotel generally very pleasant and convenient for the beach and the town centre (10-minute walk).
