Mas de la Chapelle    

It is a beautiful old traditional Provencale farm house in the countryside about 15 minutes from Arles. The main rooms sit around a swimming pool which looks lovely and the house is fascinating with an eclectic mix of curios and antiques with some fascinating rooms.

Near the house is a power station, high security prison and a railway line almost over the back fence. None of these are mentioned in the online ads, of course. Also the house needed "airing" as several people commented on the "rising damp" and the musty smell. Perhaps after winter they need to open the place up more. Also the garden was very over grown and unkempt. It could be beautiful. It is also a little too far out of town.

I love that receptionist very much. And of course the design of the hotel is incredible! Also I love the cats and dogs there!

Great, spectacullar, unique, a completely different place, decorated by a true proffesional (used to work for Channel and Dior) The atsmosphere is fantastic, and the hotel is totally different, you are almost on your own, enjoying a superb vila, I Higly recommend this hotel for Connosieurs and people who loves art and nature. Go there, you wont regret.

The gardens are absolutely beautiful! Full of wildlife..... Our room was Lovely too , great colours but the beds were really uncomfortable And the pillows lumpy. The breakfast was good but there is no Bar or room service or restaurant! So it's very quite at night and Lacks atmosphere from other guests . But it's a lovely place and The pool is lovely...

What a gem! This place, as long as you can find it... Is exceptional. The staff was superb, and the grounds were magical. My family, 2 teenagers and my husband, stayed there for 2 nights and 3 days. Perfect in every way. Definitely a 2 thumbs up!!

It was slightly difficult to find. Just make sure you have good directions! Well worth the adventure.

The pool is beautiful, and the gardens are ideal for chilling out and reading a book. Also our room ('The Commander') was big - you could happily run a B&B from the room alone! But the furnishings are tired and personally I'd rather a smaller room with a proper shower, king size bed (not two singles pushed together) and somewhere to plug in the kettle...

Its tired and in need of some TLC. We paid almost 200 euro per night for our room (excluding breakfast) and it simply isn't worth it - for that sort of cash you can find some amazing B&B's in the same area. 100 euro would have been a good price given the location and standard of the room. The grounds are lovely - lots of green and private areas to chill out, but again, the garden needs a lot of attention - it's rough beauty which is fine, but I'd expect it all to be a lot more polished for the price we paid. The bed was two singles rather than one large bed, so my feet hung off the end and there was a small cliff separating my new wife and me - we were on our honeymoon so whilst the bed cliff might appeal to some couples it didn't work for us. The shower was a bath with a shower head, but no where to attach it to the wall - another small touch that they'd missed, like the kettle - I had to plug it into the socket next to the TV on the floor since the kettle was screwed into the serving tray, and there was nowhere else to rest it while it boiled up. Again, it's a little thing but all the little things add up to make a place amazing, and unfortunately Mas de la Chapelle isn't amazing. It's a solid 2.5 to 3 star option if you have a car (you need a car!) and you want to be well, well away from the action. But you'd want to be paying closer to 100 euros for your room as anything more than that and you'll have a bunch of other potentially better options to consider.

Location was good, staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good.

The room was damp feeling and a bit musty. The ponds were stagnant, and mosquitoes were alive and well.

La proximité d'Arles

Chambre non aérée avant notre arrivée, l'esprit brouillon qui domine dans les lieux y compris le jardin mais qui peut plaire à certains......

Spa hors-service depuis trois semaines à notre arrivée mais nous n'avons pas été prévenus à l'avance. Nous avions réservé un soin mais l’hôtel a communiqué un type de soin différent à l'intervenant extérieur qui n'avait pas les bons produits. Nous avons donc du annuler ce soin.

Уединеное местоположение для спокойного отдыха. Не смотря на близость железной дороги, очень тихо в номере. Красивая обстановка в стиле прованс. Большой сад.

В номере не работал телевизор, не очень качественно прибирают номер. Вороватый персонал. Перевернул весь номер но не нашел оставленный накануне айпод нано. Правда после выяснения отношений на ресепции отеля он чудным образом нашелся и мне его принесли со словами что заволился под стол.

мне очень понравился сад, все в цвету, в небольших прудиках живут лягушки.

главная проблема, что что в номере входная дверь и окно об'единены, мимо проходит дорожка, поэтому вы либо зашториваете единственный источник света и воздуха, либо миритесь со взглядами с улицы. к нам, например, в 8 утра заглядывал дворник. в номерах сильный запах сырости. сливы в раковине и в душе не работали совсем, держатель для душа вообще. в целом, если вы настроены романтически и еще помните пионерский лагерь, вам может понравится.

Un'oasi di pace e silenzio nel verde a 10 minuti di macchina dal centro di Arles. Stanze ampie e veramente comode.

L'arredamento risulta un pò kitsch. Un 4 stelle dovrebbe avere il frigo bar in camera...

Plus maison d'antiquités avec un foisonnement d'objets en tous genre plutôt poussiéreux ! L'hiver n'est pas la bonne saison pour séjourner dans cet hotel...

L accueil formidable qui a pris le temps de nous donner de bonnes adresses sur Arles et alentours. La chambre était une merveille. Le cadre est grandiose.
