Best Western Masqhotel  

Ottimo hotel, comodo, ben dislocato con camere e parcheggio funzionali. Posto assolutamente valido per visitare I dintorni e, cosa di non poco conto in Francia, facile da raggiungere.

Spacious well designed rooms with good facilities. Interesting design in the public rooms, well located for the Old Port of La Rochelle. Everything worked as it should and the staff were excellent.

We obtained a sizeable discount from the tariff prices, which made the experience much more cost effective. At the tariff rates I would have been less satisfied.

I found what a traveller is looking for: kindness, service, warmth, comfort, quality, and....champagne for breakfast!

Friendly staff, good clean rooms, comfy beds and quiet. Short walk to centre of the town.

Modern clean lines, comfortable beds, excellent bathrooms. Convenient parking, air con is quiet and efficient. Hard wired internet. Quiet for a city location.

Good breakfast but several people had to ask (strongly) before the hot dishes were replenished. The initial reaction was that they were finished and would not be filled up. Otherwise very good

Chris could not have been nicer. We had trouble finding the hotel, and she was more than kind guiding us in. The hotel in general is geared toward business and family use, but we found the proximity to the marina and restaurant district very convenient, about a pleasant 15 minute walk, so we, as a mature touring/vacationing couple, could not have been more pleased with the staff, the accommodations, and the location.

Ok, so the contemporary design and furnishings weren't my style, at least everything was comfortable.

Modern, bright, very comfortable hotel with good size of room only 5 minutes walk from the railway station and approx 10 minutes from the town centre. The added bonus was having a British tv channel which is rare in Europe and even a British electrical socket without the need for an adaptor. They really have put a lot of thought into this hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would return without hesitation. Having stayed in Best Western hotels in the past which were a disappointment, this hotel was definitely miles better.

Funky style and great quality

It was comfortable clean,efficient with basement parking .Staff were very warm and cheerful. Facilities very good

Glass swing door on the bathroom (excellent,modern,clean btw) like many modern hotels

- no breakfast included (not good value for money, given room tariff). - location of hotel quite far from seafront - no mini-bar, which given heat, not ideal

The multi-lingual staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. We asked for - and were granted without question or extra charge - a late check- out which was also a good example of relaxing the rules in favour of the customer. Very impressive.

The room decor is rather cold and clinical. Guests should be able to park before checking in: We had to stop outside the hotel, check in then return to the car to park and then unload our luggage etc. Also, communal lighting in the halls on the 4th floor were off which was disorienting and dangerous.
