Mathis Elysées Matignon    

Great service, and excellent concierge. Upgraded me to a suite from a normal smallish room for 2 of 4 days as they had a vacancy, which was much appreciated!

The most important thing when you arrive at a hotel is a service with a smile and that's what we received and got throughout our trip. The staff - Daniel and León and the lady who served us breakfast (whose name, unfortunately, we forgot to ask) - were extremely hospitable and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The hotel is excellently situated and ideal for anyone wishing to discover Paris from - whether it's shopping or sight-seeing. The décor came as a pleasant surprise - as had never slept in a hotel room with red walls and a leopard skin-design carpet before - and we are so glad we chose this hotel! Nothing but pluses for the hotel. Will definitely stay there in my next trip.

The hotel was perfect for us it has typical Parisian styling with the decor to match. Our room was surprisingly large and well appointed, the continental breakfast was good, omelettes etc were also available. The staff were lovely and so helpful, a big thank you to Leone and Benedicte who pre arranged all our trips and were so friendly.Its location is mid way between the Arc del Triomphe and Place de la Concorde and a couple of minutes walk to the Champs- Elysees. The local restaraunts are well worth a visit there are plenty just a couple of minutes from the hotel. There is also a bar attached to the hotel which is a little like a private club, just check the price of the drinks.

Only one negative there were obviously young children in the room above us and we could here them bouncing around early in the morning.

Top location, Champ élysées is just around the corner. Lovely little hotel (in rather ancient building), well maintained. Elevator is a must see!

Fantastique service, smiling highly dedicated staff that make all the difference, beautiful charming decor, very clean, and extremely well located in quiet posh street at the heart of everything. We absolutely loved. For sure one of city's finest hotels. A Paris gem.

*Location location location. Less than a minute walk to the famous champs elysees. *Very friendly staff (specially the Gentleman on the reception, his name was Leon). He took the extra mile of helping us in planning our tour and transportation. *Excellent cleaning and room services. *I can go on and on... to make a long story short, one of the best hotel I've been to *

The hotel staff were very warm, friendly and accommodating. The hotel is very near tourist attractions and cafe's and restaurants.

Hotel location is close to Av. des Champs Elysees and staff is very friendly.

The room was very dark and hot. The air conditioning could not be turned on. The booking form said I would have a room overlooking the courtyard but my room overlooked back wall of the next hotel and the generator !

Location, staff and room design were perfect. Lift is tiny, but very stylish. Value for money is outstanding. Quiet area close to major attractions.

Breakfast was very poor, there was no hot foot. Also, fittings in bathroom were dated - some of them were almost falling off.

The hotel has the best location, stuff is realy nice and friendly ,bar of the hotel is the hot spot in Paris. The food in restaurant is amazing

A small room and left

Its a very unique hotel, especialy the antique elevator!! Staff were super friendly and helpful. We've never felt more welcome. Location is so great, very central to avenue elysee and avenue montaigne. Surrounded by great cafes, restaurants and eating place.

This place has a personality! The staff is kind and always available for guaranteeing the quality of your staying, the rooms are very nice and comfortable (we had a superior double room). All the rooms look different! Moreover, the place is in the very center of the city, very near to the most important monuments and attractions. We had a very nice staying and thus I can recommend Mathis Elysées Matignon to everyone looking for a romantic holiday in Paris.

Sometimes you could hear the noise from the bar, but on whole it didnt disturb. Rooms are def. Not sound-proof as described in hotel description.

Everything! This hotel is incredibly beautiful! It felt like we were staying in a palace. They upgraded us and the room was so beautiful! The staff was wonderful, always friendly and willing to help in every way! I would definitely stay here again!

The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors. That said, our neighbors were laughing loudly at 4 in the morning and when we called management, they must have handled it because it stopped right away. In no way did it ever seem the fault of the hotel.

double room was comfortable, room service good (although I've never had a chilled club sandwich before :-) ), helpful friendly staff.

breakfast was a bit limited and pricey too. The elevator is tiny so be prepared to use the stairs.
